Deepstack should be around 200-300 BB though and it might last more than 4 hours because in the Grand Finale, everyone would be tighter than usual.

I support 200-300 BB deep stack for the Grand Finale, although imo 200 BB would be enough to potentially play a long and interesting game, but not too long when you might end up with no beer left at the most interesting point.

Actually I don't drink much, and I never start drinking from the very beginning. The first 1.5-2 hours I'm sober as a judge. Also, the quantity of drinks in my house is pre-established so that I wouldn't drink too much. That's why they can run out if the tournament is too long.

I was thinking about it. At first I do play mostly for points to qualify for the the Grand Final. And when the goal is achieved, it seems like it's more advantageous to play in some GTD tournaments where the prize pool is usually bigger than all the buy-ins combined. But it's advantageous only money-wise, while I'm looking for the entertainment in the first place. And it is so much fun playing with you guys, and since it can be the last Bitcointalk Poker Series in the observable future, I'd rather play in those 2 games.

With only two games pending  (Q7- Q8) it is worth commenting on some things:

Curiosities of the first Betnomi Poker Series $ 1000
After 6 qualifying tournaments only three players have managed to score points in all tournaments:
Betwrong
webtricks: Q4 winner.
icopress: Q1 winner.

No player has been repeated as a winner and only one player has been in that winning situation (HUH) three times reaching first place his third time.

Those who remained without movements, webtricks and steamtyme maintain their positions 3rd and 9th.

The big jump; Teethow from being in the small final has managed to climb 3 places.

Goodluck everyone, it sucks when you have to be the first one to get out two weeks in a row but thats it and better lucky next week. Luck was not in my favor today. I had to fold few good hands because river sucks for me and face abit of cooler there. Tried to slow play pocket Kings and it backfired to me when flush draws gets there. Everyone folded when I had pocket Aces eben when I only raised 2BB. Bad luck happens and this is what makes poker interesting  


Well there is no way that I will be the first one to go out third time in a row next week isnt it  . I'll make sure I get the highest possible points next week to ensure my spot in the Grand Finale

That's right, you just have to understand it by its very essence and by the diversity in its style of those who play it.

Today I was getting good hands and getting help on the flop. A double pair looking to catch someone with a top pair on an 84T flop became a flush for the toughest player in this series Betwrong.

Then maybe the hand that could get me on my way became that play that you know the kiker can hurt you, but the kiker became a full house ...

I'm sorry for that, mate. With 15-20 BB it was still perfectly possible to win the tournament, and you got disconnected. That's unfortunate. Maybe try to find out what place in your town has better Internet, and play these tournaments from there?

But most of all I wish you had good connection in your place, so that no dinosaur could ruin your game.

In my opinion, Iv4n got extremely unlucky during the last minutes of the tournament. Just look at his number of chips when only 3 players left:



and he finished 3rd in the end! Yet, still ITM, and don't forget that he's the only one who has won two Grand Finals. So, not bad, iv4n, not bad at all.

sorry guys, i shit the bed on this one. donated the buy-in, but i know it's annoying playing with sit-outs. i woke up to play but was overwhelmed by family drama and never made it to the PC.

Maybe I am wrong, I think you won 6 times! Two jacks, higher cards, pairs...nothing worked against you last night! I had a nice stack, but as it goes in poker sometimes, you can't do many things only with a nice stack, you need some good cards too! I had a feeling that Icopress is standing on a side and watching us fighting, he just collect the cream from the top, and he won in the end with his careful play!
Congrats to you Bet on nice finish, you were struggling with chips, as I remember you had even 10-15k while we had over 100k! Awesome play!
Congrats to Ico for the first place! I guess we see in the next game and that we secured our seats for the grand finale!
