What do you think?

I think we could see that when Bitcoin is available for offline transactions. I mean when Bitcoin offline transactions are widely used, because I've heard that there are actually people who can transact offline using Bitcoin.
But, the most possible thing for this scenario is to buy chips in the casino using Bitcoin or other alts.

It is happening already, isn't it? I have ever heard that there are some physical casinos accepts bitcoin as one of the payment method to buy the chips.
It is obvious that this is the only possible way since bitcoin is not a physical currency, so I doubt we will see casinos where gamblers play with physical bitcoin in the future.
IMO what we have now (online gambling industry) where we can play with bitcoin is more than enough. I have no reasons why it should be implemented on physical casinos since I will never be able to play on physical casinos Smiley
the same as paying when you buy coffe or when you buy at the store that accepts btc , you pay them with btc and get the items physically but in a casino in real world , you pay them with btc and you got your gambling currencies or chips or they can also create a replica of btc in a form of chips to simulate btc gambling in a real world casino , that would be fun and cool than using plain gambling chips . in the meantime since real world casinos are mostly close , the idea of it can be delayed but we still have our online btc gambling .

Maybe in the future that some of big companies already started using bitcoin maybe it will be an eye opener for those owner of casino to accept bitcoin as they daily transaction using bitcoin, this could be the easiest to buy poker chips or when you want to cashout your chips into bitcoin as well so it is really a good win win situation how ever we are going to see the taxes that will be incountered when using bitcoin because we knew that the more bitcoin you make transaction the more fee will it get.

Bitcoin is kinda designed to work for online casinos so when it comes to real life casinos it will be hard and I doubt most of the casinos will actually adopt this in the future. There are some exceptions in some countries like USA and some from Asia and maybe even Malta , but in rest no one really wants bitcoin in real life casinos but for sure they will implement the payement future and betting future in their online casinos.

I think that many people from this topic have never played in regular casinos and so it is not so important for them to pay there in Bitcoin or not. This is important in terms of the prestige of Bitcoin and its fame. The more places that will be accepted as payment for Bitcoin, the more popular it will be. I sometimes go to regular casinos, but I never want to buy chips for the Bitcoin.
