ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again?

I would be happy to have none of them return again but I guess this will be too much to hope for;) All those scammers and fake projects who ran in 2017 and 2018 will surely be returning once more to look for new victims, and since we all know most people new to crypto are greedy,,, we also know that these guys will be coming back for more. Alt season coming again I guess!

I want ICO to return again. ICO gave us coins like Ethereum,Mobilego,Neo,Spectrecoin,Nxt etc. Ico was the best for crypto but then some scammers scammed peoples money by creating shit icos. But overall ICO was good than IEO.

We shouldn't bother about us, because many ICO companies raised funds by showing fake designs and false promises to the investors and this makes they are kept dumping them in the market. Of course, many good projects launched through ICO, but the majority of the ICO's cheated both the investors and bounty investors without payments.

Of course some are helpful while some are not, like an IEO or ICO, not all projects are really useful and in fact we can only count the projects that has really survive until now, some just show up for a while and gone forever.

temporary hype maybe we could called it, some project pay cryptocurrency influencer to shill their project and so we see it could survive only in cuople months. different with project that have real quality, no need to shill and investors will come by their self. personally i am hope binance IEO will on fire again , i miss profits more than 5x from this IEO platfrom.

Fix your topic, IEO isn't gone yet it's still here and fully working, only ICO is been forgotten because of scammers, It's not too late for ICO to make a come back and few projects are still using ICO today but IEO gives more confidence than ICO, both ICO and IEO can coexist all that matters is good projects not crowdfunding

I believe that ICO had lots of success because it's the first of its kind in 2017, if ICO is still very much active today side by side with IEO many investors will prefer ICO, investors have no choice but to tlput their trust on IEO today because of top exchanges and because there isn't any other good crowdfunding strategy available, I do wish for ICO to come back but the audience (public) has a major role to play here, they are the investors and they are the ones to make the decision.

ICO and IEO don't need to make any return because they are still very much alive right now, new developers still use ICO to raise funds e.g Avalanche and JACS used ICO this year and few other projects, the quality of a project speaks louder than whatever crowdfunding they plan to use, it's left for investors to make a choice, I'm sure investors are smart enough, they will invest without worrying about the crowdfunding plan

It's gone. 100% IMO.. there are some ICO now but they sure will not succeed, if there's some project to succeed, it should be coming from IEO, now ICO.

The success of ICO in 2017 brings more failures to most investors, let's do the math, if only 10% of the ICO are legit, the 90% are scams and there are a lot of hype during 2017 and early 2018, which means people have invested heavily on altcoins and ICOs.

ICO should be Banned in this forum because for long now they bring more problem than favor,Though IEO in the other hands many says almost same as ICO.
But of course Scammers will always find way to have Victim and that is why they will never gone,What we need to do is double the security and lessen the foolishness.
so these scammers may have no victims and in time will stop in their activities for not gaining any.

ICO is more risky than IEO in two ways

1. Even if the new ICO project have a good use case you can never tell if the project is really here to stay or the team have another agenda in plan but it's different with IEO, that's if you choose your IEO projects through top exchanges, binance for example do all they can to make sure the new project is really here to stay, they have reputations to protect too so you aren't the only one doing research


2. ICO projects can dump and raising funds and trading begins on exchanges, it's a big different experience from IEO, though IEO from binance dumps later but one thing is certain here, no instant dumps and investors makes good ROI starting from 2x to 8x

Agreed, IEO became popular in 2018 and bears have already took over crypto space at the time and yet many IEOs from binance launchpad still delivers through the bear season bringing up to 8x to investors, what's definitely missing here is what the performance of IEO crowdfunding  projects will be in bull season, we haven't seen that yet....

creating new concept is not against to the creator of those concepts and coin creators but this is against to us that hate scams .
we hate it but why no one on us takes this complain seriously in the higher court , let see if they can do anything to stop this production of new concepts and new coin creations . all of us know that ieo is the best , all of us will also vote for ieo to comeback and to remain . if we can fight scams we can make this market cleaner and we can magnet more investors to come in

Right now ICO idea is doing better than IEO. Because with the Defi hype, investors are gambling most, sometimes they earning good and sometimes they are falling in the scam. But the overall profit is there. I don't see much hype in Binance IEO anymore, rather some food coin came and grab the whole market's attention. So, in the end, the ICO idea will come back and work well.

I remember how much people earned in 2017-2018 investing in fake projects and how this fake got listed immediately. In search for easy money, I wish ICO to return, because investor is the only one to make his own research and the only one responsible. While IEO's are researched by exchanges and they skip lots of shady scammy projects, which could give good profit for early investors

Since I’ve started doing this, when I am a newbie ICO is the best. Most especially wayback 2017 ICO is much much great than today. There a lot of scams today. Though I experienced it also but not like today, you are lucky if the campaign pay you. I think ICO will return again like before very soon.

ICO can't be better than IEO, some projects don't decide overall. Mobilego on your list is also not a good project, it is a $55m project but they disappoint a lot of investors even though they aren't scam.

remember, MobileGo has been to $ 1, even though the price is currently down to $ 0.005 I think MGO can still reach $ 0.1 again,
at least that price, because I see MobileGo is still active on social media,
even though I don't follow the development of this project but altcoin season can change everything is easy.

I don't want any of the two to return, but if I have to pick one, IEO is the lesser evil between the two, as long as the IEO, as long as the project is going to hold their IEO to a reputable exchange, IEO is much better than because they are exchange regulated, compared to ICO where the one controlling everything is the project.

I don't want any of the two to return, but if I have to pick one, IEO is the lesser evil between the two, as long as the IEO, as long as the project is going to hold their IEO to a reputable exchange, IEO is much better than because they are exchange regulated, compared to ICO where the one controlling everything is the project.

IEO was good, it's safer than ICO and I like IEO hosted by a reputable exchange, just like this year, there are plenty of projects that held their IEO in Binance and they are successful, but never seen an ICO, the name itself already leaves a bad reputation to investors so they won't trust it.

As time passes, changes happens, now it's the De-Fi where are hype but for sure there's something new waiting to replace De-Fi.
