ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again?

ICO is actually better idea for crowdfunding compared to IEO but both has more disadvantages than positive things. Well don't give more authority to centralized exchanges which may harm the cryptocurrency market in long term that is why I said ICO is better.

yeah, but personally, I prefer IEOs to ICOs. yeah, that's because the market is clearer. however, the truth is that both are just sales techniques. what determines whether we need to support the project or not is the concept that was delivered. if it's unique, and has a wide range of benefits, an ICO or an IEO, I think people will be interested in it.

Ieos are still in good shape for now. And I am happy with the ieos. I know the ico format was very popular in 2017-2018. For for some reasons people started to avoid it. The main reasons behind falure of icos are full of scamming, most of the projects leave in mid way, and lots of money stole by many icos. So people stopped investing in icos. And after that then ieos come. And it's less risky. Cuase if a big exchange offered a ieo that mean that's very trusted. So people like ieos at the moment and it's also profitable in most of the cases.

Agree into this one if we do compare on the Hype on where ICO did generate which is way really higher compared with IEO because people had
already been aware with the probabilities that might happen when the market tends to have a new trend on where fomo do begins which would
really result into possible lose of funds or investment when they do turn out to be a scam.Asking out on which one I do like to return?
Same as yours where we don't really need to be flooded out by lots of projects in the market.Having several or couple of project with some
relevance or actual usage is much preferred.

In the heyday of ICOs, it made a lot of money, we know that it was the biggest income for me when ICOs were still popular at that time but time went by quickly and ICOs sank because of the many scamer that appeared, destroying the reputation on the cryptocurrency exchange.

Time that has passed will never come back again, even though we still live in the same world and on the same day, but the names of that time will always be different and will never be the same, so it will be very useless if you expect to return to the days when popular ICO project, because it will never be around again.

See, some people agrees with me that we don't really need them any longer. 2017 was speculated that the all time high was due to the ICOs but when the IEOs came, we don't even see an effect of it to the market.
And for this year ending of 2020, it's the same as the all time high of bitcoin but there's no more ICO that's putting the crypto market on hype. But it's the institutions that's helping it to grow.

The success of ICO's back then in 2017 can not be matched by IEO's, so if I'm going to choose between the both of them, well I will definitely pick ICO's, because apart from the scammers that later spoilt the name, back then in 2017 most of the ICO's were successful and most of those projects are still standing strong up till date, some IEO's did well at the start, but after a while it's no longer valid, IEO's are mainly for whales, whereas ICO's gave a room for everyone to participate.

How the hype on ICO return? I don't see any chances of it. Unfortunately, most people already doubt ICOs because most ICOs just produced scam or shit coins. It should be not easy to ensure the people to invest in ICOs again. There must be a big change in ICO, especially in the listing plan. The investors want a guarantee for the listing on trustable exchanges.

ICO and IEO both at the same risk. It is high risk investment. It is like you investing at start up so there is a chance the project is not going well or collapse. But in crypto the risk is higher because sometimes we invest in ICO or IEO which is not from our local. And it is accessible for everybody thats why there are a lot of scammer used it. They make fake project and use community as bounty hunter.

I dont like any of the two. I saw many scams on both platforms. Anyone ever think of IPO instead of ICO/IEO. Like we will buy slot for 1000 shares of any particular project. Certainly there will be specific allocation. There will be lottery and only certain people will get shares, other will get their money back. I think that will be great

Everyone who has felt sweetness ICO in 2017 will want to come back again  , because we can get a lot of money from ICO projects, Unlike the current IEO or Defi project, it doesn't give us as much money as ICO project in 2017. Currently, Many IEO and Defi projects are scam, especially Defi project, they only use pump and dump moment, after that their projects die.

I am someone who got greatly benefitted from the ICO boom of 2017. But then the influx of scammers from 2018 onwards made it impossible to invest in this sector. The IEO sector got a great start, but after sometime it also ended up like the ICOs. I don't think that a revival is possible with either of these two sectors, unless the basic concerns are answered. Investors are more cautious now and they don't want to pump their money in to ICOs/IEOs without any solid guarantee and protective mechanisms.

Yes, I do agree with you, 2017 was the best year for all the bounty hunters. During this time many hunters get amazing rewards for their work. Right now Defi hype is going on but if we do compare ICO's with current Defi projects then it is crystal clear back in 2017 hunter has got greater rewards.

All of that must have a period so that in the future we will follow the trend, the first thing I know from the beginning is that from the start of the ICO, many successes occurred before the scams entered and eventually became an IEO where the exchange became a guaranteed shield for tokens. put there it makes a lot of people also happy because they have more confidence in their funding.
Now there is DeFi, which is increasingly successful and also not free from scamer, so in the future we will follow the trend there we will know what else will happen in the future.
In fact, I'm not sure the ICO will come back to the way it used to be.
