ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again?

I would like to return Neither ICO nor IEO, cause both of those are dangerous way even scammers still grabbing money by using those ways.apart from those things, new technic come in market, which is called defi. After old scamming technic Ico & ieo, scammer start defi technic and as a reaction of that, very terribly downfall of defi tokens happened within night.although ieo is good technic than ico, cause if ieo token scam,  you may sell your token & recovery little money but no chance to Recovey from co token scam.

It only differs on the way a project  is offered to the public, but the exchange is not responsible if the project turns out to be scam in the long run, so there's still a risk in fact it's still considered as a high risk, but compared to ICO, IEO is definitely an improvement.

The trend is changing, before we have ICO, then IEO, and now we have De-Fi, so we have to live with the changes if we want to take advantage as an early investors but we have to ensure we did enough research.

Both have their own limitations but from experience, IEO is much more better. It is very hard this day to even know people that are behind  a project talk less of known maybe it will be a scam project. In the past, most project list team that you can easily trace their history on the internet but now most of them  either make use of stock images, emoticon or do not even list team members. When project get listed on great platforms like Binance launchpad it is very unlikely the project will be a scam. This is because such platforms have a rigorous process that eliminate the chance of listing project with scam team. You cannot guaranty what will happen to an ICO especially those that make use of team that don't have traceable background

I don't think it matters anymore to see any of the two return because there are now so many ways of raising funds for project, going back to IEO or ICO may not be realistic anymore,there will surely be more method of raising fund even in the future. We need to move on and not give a thought to bringing IEO or ICO back. I guess the most important thing is for crowd funding to be successful irrespective of the method used.

IEO was known good to all bounty hunters because it is an assurance that the project will get listed and will get a good support from the investors especially if it will be listed in the big exchanges. Investors may not going get into doubt into investing that project. However, in my opinion, the most successful projects do come from a ICO so still believe in the ICO projects.

Creating new concepts means increasing the amount of scamming in new ways. I think i had to come back to invest in IEO.

If I am going to ask ICO in 2017 is much more better than ever, that's what I want to return again actually, because most of the ICO during this year was mostly ending up a good result of their campaign project. only few of them failed only unlike when 2018 up to 2019 it became rampant while IEO was only good in the beginning but not long last.

I agree with you, because 2017 is the year for ICO so that makes ICO successful and gives us a big profit by investing in ICO, but because ICO become popular, then many people scam using ICO and it has a negative impact on ICO (people don't trust anymore to invest in ICO and that makes ICO die), so for now people are more interested to investing in projects that already have product and are in the top 100 coinmarketcap (safer and definitely make a profit even though it takes a long time).

IEO is here to stay, ICO is the only fundraising that investors have low trust for but still some new strong projects still use ICO to raise money, avalanche use ICO fundraising and they raise good amount of money for development but still I prefer IEO more than ICO

Correct thinking that there will be a huge increase in scammers to take away your assets at this point in time. It looks like they don't have any bad thoughts to come in the future.

They always have bad plans for everyone.
No need to think if they have bad or good thoughts because it's usually a bad plan that they want to steal others money.

Not only that time, now some scams are still running smoothly and I saw a project that ended very badly. you can see for yourself. But if you are lucky then a little money will fill your pocket.

As said in the past post, they are in all seasons. Without or with these projects, scammers are hunting the newbies or people who are not thinking of the scheme of the project.
They choose to scam people and run as planned until someone notices them. Projects that ends badly, it's not problem but it's also part of their expectation that there really are projects that have little to no chance of success.

I believe if we compare the total of legit IEOs to the total number of IEOs, the result is still not attractive. There are a lot of IEOs that are being release in a non reputable site, that alone is an automatic failure, as if it's not a scam, it will still have a hard time selling their project as people does not trust an exchange without good reputation.

It is not all the newbies tho, even for the people they called themselves "experienced" they can still caught up by random ass IEO scammers because of how well these scammers hide their scheme with how they perform in community to make it look legit, there are lots of examples about this and scammers are always have a new stuff to come with for scamming.

as long as it's still a good, real, needed project, I want both of them to come back. however, both of these things are made by people who are serious about carrying out their projects. To be honest, ICOs and IEOs still exist today, but we still need to be selective in choosing one of them. in consideration of this, I might be inclined to choose IEO.

We have so many crypto coins already that we don't need a bunch of them again. We have enough projects right now. Why don't we just focus on the old ones instead of supporting these new projects. These new projects can give a high reward yes but the risk is very high that some investors can't bear their losses (unfortunately for them).

yepp, focus on existing that already proved as good coins will help us to earn money and avoid from fake project. we have so many good existing project which is some of them have adoption in real usage. if compared between existing coins and new coins from ICO or IEO project have big differences, we feel speculate while investing in ICO or IEO except its from binance platform which is most of them able to growth when traded in market.

IEO is like that, because IEO is very dependent on exchanges that are launching IEOs.
if an exchange with a good rating, then IEO has a high potential for success,
but unlike ICO, ICO does not depend on the exchange, but depends on the fundamentals of the project itself,
