You have just answered some of my worries surrounding the current Bitcoin momentum, the rate at which the bitcoin price moved and still moving seem diffrent to me compared to the 2017 bullish movement. The space at which the market is going might or might not be good for the altcoins pumps but the issue here is the altcoinseaons will be back after this struggles. Though, there are still available altcoins profits taking in the market, so, take profit now or wait for seasons of altcoin.

Still not chance for altcoin season in this year after many investor make busy by DeFi coin although at least defi become scam coin without many investor loss much money in DeFi coin. Still awaiting for next year what will happen with altcoin can growing up without waiting with bitcoin or always allow what happen with bitcoin later, when bitcoin down altcoin keep going down or not. I think investor only interested with bitcoin and altcoin if can recovery as soon possible because many investor wanna increase investment assets faster without holding for long term, by investing with altcoin need decision how to long for long time because altcoin waiting for bitcoin dominance less than altcoin and give for altcoin back to higher price.

according to my observations, ethereum is growing parallel to bitcoin. Now I do not observe this dependence, strange.

Some altcoins were not follows bitcoin to increase, seems they are slowly go down while bitcoin slowly go up maybe it's not a sign yet to be altseason. Let's see what will happen in the next days, if bitcoin cross $18,000 in just one day then I think altseason will happen.

Seems that it's still not the time yet, while bitcoin still moving forward most of alts are in red.

Probably investors are riding with bitcoin and enjoying the party, most of them are not diverting yet since the train for bitcoin still hot.
It will happen though once there's a huge pumped for sure impacts will take place around the alts communities, best to take advantage
of those cheap alts that you think have a good potential to pumped up after this bitcoin rallies.

We need to wait for more to see the altcoin season comes at the market, but that will happen shortly. If you already bought many altcoins, you can expect and hope to profit from your coins. Maybe you can try to buy more amount for each potential altcoin that can have a chance to increase in the next bull run. I think when Bitcoin Bullish many people switch to altcoins because they can invest cheaper than bitcoin, so that altcoins can return to the way 2017 was the golden age of altcoins

No one can tell for sure what will happen from now till end of year, lately we have witnesses how btc have been increasing in price, dominating the whole market, while there have been some occasional price increase on some alts too, actually, I was hoping to see a major spike in alts price with this recent btc price pump but that hasn't happened yet, it is uncertain if it will happen this year or not, but I think the majority of crypto community are optimistic so lets watch and see how 2020 will end with crypto.

Bitcoin is not yet stable, it goes pump and dump still so Alts can't be rise yet as we are expecting. But once stable became stable at its price we can expect the Alts season already. So far you can still scalp some of the alts that have good movement and take a profit from it. Just be careful you might be left behind.

This time there will be no more manipulation or bubbles, because most of the big financial institutions (MicroStrategy, Gray Scale, ..) have held and issued long-term Hold strategies.

We have been in an altcoin season for months, in principle since March / April. Because hardly anyone speaks about it, it shows that it is a relatively healthy development and not a hype like 2017 when the price was three or four times as much within a few weeks. I expect this development to continue in 2021, with slight setbacks, but we will certainly be higher at the end of 2021 than at the end of 2020.

Only a few altcoins will experience a sharp increase in price and most of the others will die by themselves. how could the price of most altcoins soar if they didn't move at all in the market all this time?

Altcoin movement is not like Bitcoin which continues to move up leaving Altcoins far away, but I believe Altcoins will move to follow the movement of bitcoin and it only takes time for Altcoins to rise slowly.

There's no altcoin season. Just wait for the time wherein the majority of altcoins will soon make a growth.

But either on BTC bull or bear, you can take advantage of the altcoins with the right strategy. No need to wait for some altcoin pumps before making an action.

I completely agree with you, and I believe that if this growth trend continues at the same pace, then a little more, and the capitalization of Bitcoin will double. Apparently, the economic crisis and the fall of the assets familiar to investors, contributes to the development of the cryptocurrency market and the recognition of Bitcoin as a profitable investment.

as long as you hold the top altcoins there is no need to worry because I see the rise in the price of Bitcoin has affected the price of other top altcoins, especially on Ethereum. according to the chart BTC prices stabilized above $ 15k and ETH stabilized at $ 150. so I am optimistic that if Bitcoin can stabilize at its current price or even go higher then altcoins will follow suit.
