[WARNING] Wirex - Delays prcessing in withdrawals

Hi,

It's been a while since Wirex ( wirexapp.com) hasn't worked as it once did. Blacklisted withdrawal addresses, declined withdrawal operations, delays in processing purchases with credit cards are just some of the evidence I am experiencing. Their support department fails to provide valid answers in a short time. For example, this morning I bought 200 euros for litecoin by credit card and they were credited only after two hours, while the transfer of these to an external address has been in "processing" for about four hours. I'm trying to contact their customer service but no one answers me.

This does not want to be a real accusation of scam (for the moment) , but just a warning because I experienced a deterioration of the service with a consequent increase in the risk in performing operations with wirex, so is better to be smart.

A lot of users are in the some situation as mine. It look to be a selective scam just because there is no warning on theyr site about issue.

So next time, try to check their social media first, I know that this is not a scam accusations, but it will save you time and headache, just saying.

Yes, it sounds strange. How a DNS issue can compromits withdrawals?
Please note that credit card deposits works fine!!!!!

Wirex has quite a history of being unreliable for withdrawals to another bank account.
Two search results are this (to bank account) and this (to exchange, old), but I guess that I am too lazy or too unlucky for getting other similar posts. I read Wirex ANN thread now and then and such problems seem to just occur from time to time.
I'd say that a conclusion is that one better avoids doing that with Wirex and their only useful and working service is to simply use the card for shopping.

If you are noticing problems with their services that wasn't there in the first place I think it is better for you to not use their service anymore until it is proven that they are still up and running or has confirmed that their problems are really regarding what they are saying. It goes for the people who are experiencing it as well, as their service is slowly deteriorating on your end I would expect people to avoid their service temporarily until everything is back to normal because right now them being a scam is not yet confirmed.

This problem can put many users at risk. There are many people who don't know much about various updates, which can lead to big dangers later on. I hope that because of your warning, many crypto users stay away from this website now. When their website is fully working, please let everyone know through updates.

I have skimmed through the ticket and from what it looks like the representatives of Wirex are not giving any reasons why their funds are blocked by them. All of their replies are about their separate tickets attributed to them. Other than that the client themselves are not replying if the issue has been resolve after Wirex have escalated their problem. From what it looks like it is getting more risky in having funds in Wirex right now as there are several people experiencing it.

That means still you can not withdraw the fund? It's weird since it already 4 days gone. Even they are inactive in this forum for about 1 year. So maybe tag will not help to resolve your issue but it will act to know it to others.

The criminals was able to compromise their site as they have change the DNS setting as per their initial tweet that I have posted.
