What happened:
Hi, I submitted a transaction of $7000 (Order ID zvxe87-62gd4c-kulbq7, th id da824c9063bd9aea76a7a84973daa8b3fce596cb8e80b6fa7fd39765299a6fcc) for 15 min of mix-up and still haven't got any funds sent, it's been 10 hours already. This DOES look like an exit scam to me. Mycryptomixer, any comments?
User artsidim sent me his Letter of Guarantee, which I verified. Despite a hefty 4% fee, MyCryptoMixer didn't send anything to the destination address.

We are one of the few mixers that offer PGP signed Letters of Guarantee which will be valid and honored even if our service goes down.
You can still fix this, but this isn't giving much hope:

I just do hope this doesn't play out like a few other exit scams in the past. 5+ days without response from the support doesn't seem good for business moreover 4 of them were working days.

Please keep patience until Hhampuz got something positive for you. I have just checked their forum account and it was last active on 15 November. I don't know what their support stuffs are doing or ignoring your issue but 24 hour is enough time frame to handle a issue like that.

To be honest, I can't believe they will scam for $7000 only. As @artsidim said, still I believe they had a few technical issues. I am expecting the victim will get back his funds. Support flag and left negative feedback for temp warning. If they solve the issue then I will revise everything. Otherwise, it will remain on MyCryptoMixer's profile. they've been around for more than half a year and is still building a reputation and as far as I know, in those months I haven't seen a complaint from users(at least here in the forum). and as you can see artsidim trusted it enough to mix that much money.

I got a reply from MyCryptoMixer just now, and if this was an exit scam I don't believe they'd ever contact me again let alone login to their bitcointalk account, so I'm hopeful that this can be resolved!

Here's the basic explanation I got, and I tend to believe it:

"There was an error that made the system lose a lot of transactions. Working on a fix now and will start responding to emails / posts."

I have to disagree here: I've seen delaying tactics before, and if it is indeed an exit scam, they have a very good reason to try to trick a few more people.

Any word on why they took so long to respond? Especially when there's "an error", they should be right on top of it.

As for supporting the Flag: there's no rush! Once it was active, I removed the request to support it from the title. In similar cases that did get resolved it sometimes took a long time to withdraw all negative feedback and Flag Support.
I'm keeping an eye on the destination address, once it gets funded I'll post here.

Sorry for the long delay but I had to be away from PC since last weekend. This is a one man operation to keep the highest privacy possible. Sometimes things outside your control just happen and there is nothing you can do.

As for the transaction, it was not processed properly. The reason being a memory leak preventing our system from registering new transactions.

The system have successfully restored itself after 28 hours and all transactions have been processed retroactively. We delete transaction info after 24 hours, meaning the transactions confirmed within 4 hours window after the incident were lost. Automatic system checks have been modified to avoid such losses in the feature.

I am currently browsing through the contacts for any reports, dispatching the funds manually. Please send me the LoG so I know where to send the funds. If you wish for the funds to be send to a different address than the ones specified in the LoG, please attach a message with new destination address. The message must be BTC encrypted with the sender address or one of destinations specified in the LoG.

After a longer analysis I have identified 2 other transactions like this, all being much smaller amounts.

I am really sorry for the arising situation, considering the hundreds of transactions processed without any troubles and a few dozen automatically restored after the failure, a result of only 3 stray transactions is very positive. Lesson have been learned and hopefully in the future no transaction will be lost in unexpected scenario as the one here.

Currently waiting for contact with LoG's in order to refund these orders.

Artsidim indeed sent us an email on the 17.11 but he did not include his Letter of Guarantee there, only the Order ID which expired by now. Waiting for him here!

It's understandable with such warning considering the downtime and other services exit scamming, fortunately we're here to stay Smiley
