Just always hang in the forum for a while and then later on you will going to learn here.

There are so many things you need to learn here in the forum. However, I see you are posting in the right section. Just keep on asking on things that you are confused or needs to discuss with. I can guarantee you that this forum has full of good members that can help you out in acquiring the knowledge and skill needed here.

Or you can also use the other platforms to learn like google search engine so that you can get some answers which could not also be found here. Its a good start. But since you are still unfamiliar with cryptocurrency, you must maximize the resources you can find online or do a due diligence first what is this all about. There are lots of things need to study, from wallet, blockchain, transactions and many more.

If your concern is learning you can do it here as well and don't simply focus on rank differences. Yes there are perks of being high rank like posting colored photos, or joining signature campaign but this is not real usage of an account. Anyway goodluck to your journey.

For a fact, this is often the problem and sometime, I wonder if the pinned post isn't click bate enough. To be fair, it says newbies read before posting and so, should a biginner know his a newbie by forum rank, I guess OP shouldn't be asking that question and perhaps should just do the first thing of reading before posting but, the reverse is often the case.
Your often drawn to that which they feel makes more sense and could easily participate in and by so doing, you learn but the relevances are pushed far off and you only get to know them later than sooner which isn't such a good strategy.

The first thing you need to do when you join is forum is to READ.
Isn't it strange that once registering on this forum, the first thing you do is to create a new thread in Beginners & Help section but did not care to read the Newbies - Read before posting guide which was pinned in the section.
If you had read it , you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.

The answer for that is you need to get a merit and reach the number of merit required to rank up.

First of all you should go through the different boards on this forum and start learning about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies being discussed here. Then think about the ranking system. This a forum for learning primarily and not for attaining rank or make money.

If you remain active in the forum and help others positively you will rank higher in coming days. That's being said Taskford has written in detail about ranking system which you can follow.

Maybe i am no need to add more thread again for you learn to know how you can move up the ranking because all of them you have got from some previous answers. It's just that you have to start and continue to do it naturally without always thinking about it. If you are already knowledgeable about bitcoin, then start reading threads and contribute quality posts here, if not, then do the same, start reading threads here to be informed, start with the threads for newbies, this forum will help you about bitcoin but google and youtube will help you most, do your own research cause if you will not start reading and learning about bitcoin, you won't receive merits that will be needed for you to get to the next rank. You shouldn't focus on ranks at all anyway. Focus on learning.

What I mean by doing you as regards Bitcoin?
Doing you intells you staying original. No plagiarism or trying to be like someone else. Your allowed to adopt styles that you've studied to be good, improve on it and put your own creativity in it in a way that projects both you and the uniqueness of your content to stand, inspire your targeted audience and stays unique.

Based on what you have mentioned, it was your first time to enter the cryptocurrency hence I don't think you should focus on increasing your rank because there are a lot of things you must learn first like how to make transactions, fundamentals about blockchain, and stuff, trading, and investment if you like and more. Upon increasing your rank you must have enough experience and knowledge to share with everyone and to do that of you need to be more familiar with the whole system or industry and then growing your rank would be easy peasy. Anyway, Welcome to the forum and to the whole crypto industry, and it seems everyone has been shared the thread you must visit, I think that would be enough.

2. Create as quality posts as you can.
3. You may also visit some reputable members here and look for their merit history.

There are a lot of different ways to earn merit and getting rank up here on the forum I recommended too read all of the thread given by other members it's better to become unique too so some of them may recognize you.

Base on my personal experience I reached and rank up because I helped related to programming language and web design and web development.

After reading all the rules here and of course, be sure to follow the right format, in posting you must concentrate on contribution and making your post interesting, do not be redundant in all your posts, uniqueness is the key, from time to time there are merit sources who will give you a chance to get merit but you need to qualify your posts but you cannot do that if your posts are not that unique.
