Bitcoin Climbs Above $19,000 – Heading to New All-Time High?

Tsk. I was really preparing for a dump more massive than what we saw. But I guess asking for more than 20% in a few days would be too much, even if the gains have been piling up week after week. I'm refusing to believe the bears are giving up though, and plenty of weak hands I think have yet to be shaken.

Markets back in the green right now but I have a feeling we're down for some more surprises come the regular week.

Many people predict the same thing, even more than 30% correction but it seems no more than 17%.

I didn't predict it, more like hoping for it, but yeah, probably more predictions against than for from what's publicly available (another sign to me that this is a very different period from 2017). Don't think the possibilities for a bigger retracement are off the table though, we'll just have to examine if we get weekly lower lows, lower highs, methinks so.

Even with the fall, price didn't stop going up afterwards, we are really in a situation where we are going very high no matter what happens in between. Persisting is very important and I believe it is at that moment right now. I really hope that this increase will not stop again, last time we reached a peak of $19k+ and that was really something special for us since we got literally only 1-2% away from the all time high price, we were way too close to quit and we did just that, stopped and went down.

This time around I am really hoping that we can actually stop with all of that and instead move into something higher and break ATH, it is not guaranteed but price not keep going down gives me more hope right now than we had previously when we first tried to broke it.

There is no really guarantee in trading because in trading it is about probabilities, there is no sure profit because there are risks. Having a new ATH can become true and it has high probability because we are in uptrend where the emotion is greed and a lot of people are buying because they expect that the price will create higher highs. Even though the general market sentiment is bullish, we should still give care in our risk management for us to have confidence and not be nervous in executing our trades. The current candle is not good because there is a wick but it does not mean that there will be another dump; I just expecting that the price will retest in the support again before it finally gains momentum to break the ATH.

if you look at the charts you can see that it is an actual uptrend, not just some jump that can't last long. as a result the price can have small retracements each time it goes up. for example from $18500 to $19100 then come back to $18900 before it goes back up again. as we can see right now it is back to $19250+ and is rising.
i think it is possible to see $20k in the next following days but it may not last.

Yeah, me too. Most of us expect the same goal for bitcoin and today it is proven that bitcoin is getting back on the rally so it managed to break through $19.8k almost reach the ATH at $20k. Bitcoin is back above $19,000 USD once again. Hopefully, Not going back anytime soon unless hit new all time high. Comparing with the past ATH cost truly mooned. You can feel the momentum. BTC $20,000 will be the Christmas Gift.

As for the analysis of the trend, everything is not so obvious here - these are only historical data and they do not say anything about the future. After we see the trend breakdown on historical data, everything will be obvious again.

Yeah, he we are talking about unexpected Bitcoin and then it goes on and breaks to a new ATH for 2020. It practically broke the ATH on several exchanges already, as it is, so it really does look like a matter of days or weeks, rather than months.

Still, it's all meaningless if it can't keep a weekly and then 14-day and 30-day MA trend strong (not that keeping that would also mean anything in the short term!).

Our expectations of seeing another highest price was cut short yesterday as the price of Bitcoin started showing some pullback. Some have said it was a correction that was due to happen because the asset /cryptocurrency was worth more than it was supposed to be.

Now the question is whether the price will still get back on its feet again and start moving to its new ATH target? After the price kept sideways today, I just noticed right now that it has gone up a bit, and I am hoping that I wake up tomorrow with it being on green and above $20k.

Before bitcoin enters the new all time high, it will be more fluctuating and that can make us worry and afraid to see the price increase and decrease. We will see many people out there will say about buy and sell to other people because they want to take advantage of them. You need to be careful with them and don't panic if something happens because that can make you make the wrong decision. Calm down for a while will be better to see what is happening to the market.

BTC hit a new ATH on Coinbase early this morning (~5-6 hours ago)!

I happened to wake up middle of the night to watch it happen haha. Went just over $19,900, beating out the old ATH by $20 or so. It promptly dropped like $1900 after that though ha. Hopefully the market will keep pushing and it'll head over $20k this week!

Well from there we have gone down, and that is obviously not something we wanted but it has already happened, now we have to focus on what we can do from today into future instead of focusing on the drop. I do not think that it is something we should be worried about, we could definitely do it and we wouldn't be in big trouble in the near future, but we need to be working hard again like how we did during the past two months.

Let's see if we can get some big corporations involved as well, whenever there is a huge great news bitcoin grows bigger and that is what we should be focusing on as well, because if we can get those huge corporations involved or have any major news about crypto, it will definitely help us go back to ATH and this time even higher.

You would really have always those kind of questions in mind because price is always been unpredictable and it can go neither go up or down on what we do anticipate.
We are all hoping for the bull run or new ATH but as expected it wont really be that simple.We had test it out for how many times now and the price do really fail
to break it out but we do need a little bit more push and it might be successfuly break for this year on in early quarters of next year.
It would really be just stressful on our part if we do always mind on when it would rise up.

It went as high as $19,800 but then plummeted to $19k after reaching it. But you have to understand that this is just the beginning of the month, we still have plenty in the tank to close the year with new all time high. I'm still positive that we can slice $20k this month, as there could still young blood out there to pump the market in the 2nd-3rd week.
