I see a considerable chance of a correction to occur, but we're moving in a channel that could see bitcoin top out at 19750 before this happens. I don't see a correction any further than 17000 but I could be completely wrong on that one (my basis is we're on a third leg and up and we don't normally make it to a forth without a correction some time in the third - but this is a completely didfernt atmosphere now)...

Seems like it will take some time as the market is slightly down but comparing to ATH in 2017 the price may go more than 20k this time because the volatility is extreme this year there are more possibilities to break 20k.

Taking a look at the huge ass sell wall at the $19,500 to $20,000 range on Binance(BTC/USDT), I really really doubt it. That's going to be a tough wall to break through. I wouldn't be surprised if it would take us weeks, though what do I know? Bitcoin has always been capable of doing crazy things concerning price.

For every price barrier to be crossed, it takes time. Right now the price seems to fluctuate within $19000 - $20000. The price will settle at some price point, and from there a growth gets initiated. By the time we can expect the growth of bitcoin to mark its new ath. Rather than the expectation $19000 is reached, same as this too price movements can happen. Lets hope for the fastest reach of new ath.

We were so close...But that small 400$ (19500 to 19100) earlier today was enough to put a massive 939 btc buy wall (it was 900 while i was typing this post) on Bitstamp (and it keeps getting taller) to the 20k target

My guess is that we'll either break the ATH very soon, or very not soon - simply because failing to break through this major resistance would be viewed as weakness by many investors, and they will start thinking about shorting, especially since Bitcoin nearly doubled in price in one month. Before the dump came its price was pumped from $19.000 to $19.600 and after that just need 15 minutes the price just dump below $18.200.

That's why 2020 is not comparable to the massive bull run we have in 2017, this is just 2016.

So currently as the market goes down today at $17,700 and possible to continue to dip down tomorrow to $17k or even lower than that. So we know that ATH today is not possible as the whole crypto is going into a correction. So for me the real 2017 will be next year and that big possibility to enter a new ATH will be 2021.

It's interesting to know though what is the cause of the massive sell-off we are seeing right now. Maybe when everything settles down, we might see crypto media coming up with their own explanation.

The recovery has been quick from some time as it was almost at 16.5k and now back to 17.3k. So we may be back again to bull run but 4 days left for month to end and it may remain volatile for few days it seems where it may rise and fall. So, might just be difficult to touch ATH in this month itself it seems so.

We are so near yet so far, we had the chance to hit the peak but we failed so I don’t think the market will recover easily and hit the new peak in the last 4 days of the month. The possible reason why the market price is falling at a high rate is probably investors being afraid at this point. The market price stabilised at the $19k for a day then once it fell a little, some investors already sold due to panic. We'll, actually everyone is allowed to do so and we cannot blame those who sold early because they are probably still in trauma of the previous ATH. But if you could afford being firmed at this moment, choose to hold because there's still hope for this year's ATH. Typo error mate, I mean 6-10 hours,  . Unfortunately, it didn't happen, crazy 24 hours as the price plummeted to the $16k range. So a correction did happen, so obviously, there is no all time high, but a lot of speculation as what causes the huge dump. Maybe the $19,500 was too much, got rejected. The thing is that it was broken the next support of $18k that's why the dumping continues up to $16k range. And it's been bouncing around, and I think this time the support is holding at $16,500. So let's hope that there are no incoming dumps as it might cause another panic to $12k-$14k.

Haha already this month was ended with in a day, I don't think it will reach $20'000 within three days. It was an unexpected one from all. But we can't do damage control now. Just we have a option to make a hold.When the price had increased, it will be the best time to buy and when the price of bitcoin had reduced like this.We should make a hold of available coin and if possible buy some coin at a low price.It should be used as an opportunity.

We've marked new ath for the year 2020, and the new ath value hasn't crossed the previous bull run value. As in the quote we encountered very close market movements and finally failed to reach the targeted prediction of experts. None is sure how far will the market crash before a bounce. As per my view, it will reach around $15000 to be the bottom price. Once after that we can expect gradual move taking the price touch new ath by 2021.
