This seems highly unlikely to me, no big corporation has supported other crypto than bitcoin yet. If they would start accepting a coin it would be bitcoin, no doubt about it.
From what I overheard, Walmart has a real religious/family oriented culture. The drugs/guns thing with Bitcoin is putting them off for now and Dogecoin's activist community will need special handling. They've got the money and people to boost of Flappycoin backend. This is kind of like a test in the same way big companies start new stuff in Topeka and not NYC. They'll pretty much control the narrative for Flappycoin because there isn't one now. As I said, I was smart enough to never get into Flappycoin (before today). No reason. I will admit to getting burned with Mazarcoin and I'll either be happy or hating myself with Spaincoin depending upon Aurora ...

Hi I am the person who was sitting right in front of those two Thai people on the train, and you are right your Thai is not 100% the word they said was CAI for Caishen Coin : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=513613.0But it seems you mistook it for flappy somehow. Sorry about you buying so many flappy coins However, my uncle who happens to be the CEO of Walmart, asked me to accompany these two Thai people on the train and take them to our HQ to explain everything about CAI, before they start the process of making it spendable at all the Walmarts in the world. Uh and I forgot to mention my aunt who works at Mcdonalds, and my cousin who works at Burger King. And I also watched that movie " Throw Momma from the train ". And not to forget my brother who runs Paypal. I can also confirm that MicroGuy's "Sister's brother" works at Walmart for my uncle, and they will dress him in a CAI suit at the entrance as well.

The thought of Walmart accepting "Flappycoin" is ridiculous. Even if this person was telling the truth about what they thought they heard, it would be more likely two guys discussing pitching the idea to Walmart. The reason Walmart will never accept Flappycoin as it's first crypto? LOOK AT THE NAME.
People never take in to consideration that your mother is not going to want to use "FlappyCoins" at Walmart. She will, if there's no other option or she gets stuff for cheaper, but that is the only way. If Walmart wanted to do this, they'd hire people to launch their own coin. They would not ride the coattail of some coin someone a lot less qualified than their team made. Just the thought that someone might actually believe this is scary.
With all of this said: If walmart launched WalCoin, I would invest.

If it wasn't for that Flappybird game I'd agree with you. That game is I guess huge. I never actually played. Essentially this will be Walcoin. They'll redo Flappycoins infrastructure but keep the name. They don't want the news when if (when) someone uses Walcoins to buy a gun and kill his wife. Reads different when the headline goes "Culprit used 30 flaps to buy the weapon. Flaps are the bitcoin variant used by Walmart and other big box merchants ..."

I think Darkcoin would be in their best interest.

I'm going to bow out with the suggestion that everyone stays the hell away from Flappycoin.

Listen to this. I was sitting on the train going from Sunnyvale to San Francisco. These two Asian guys in suits sat down next to me. They started talking in Thai after looking around and saying that there was no way anyone could understand them. I did my Junior Year Abroad in Bangkok. My Thai is kind of rough and better for picking up chicks but I can understand pretty well.
They worked for Walmart and were both on the same project. It was random they were Thai. Walmart wants to explore using Cryptocurrencies to reduce transactions costs, etc. Bitcoin is too Mt. Gox/silk roadish, no-one knows what Litecoin is, Dogecoin is on the list but after the test because the Dogecoin community will require lots of outreach. Walmart has a deal with in-house McDonald's and the McDonald's people were sketchy about people paying for BigMacs with dog money. That will be worked out but not right away.
Walmart needed a shitcoin with a solid proven instracture, good devs and a good feeling. Panda had been discussed but wasn't on the list because that Wolong guy and the "dueling pandas" problem. Flappybird is well known, pleasant, harmless, warm and fuzzy. Kids like it.
Flappycoin has been choosen. The copyrights issues are all worked out; everything is hush-hush and if anyone on the inside talks their contract says they don't paid and Walmart's lawyers will eat them alive. They'll deny everything all day long.
Roll out is in a couple of months once some technical issues are worked out and if there aren't more bitcoin issues like Mt. Gox to muddy the waters.
Do I have definite proof? No. I have absolutely no proof or evidence of any kind. I heard the convo and saw that they had all kinds of Flappybird graphs on their laptops, etc.
Do I own Flappycoin? Up until this morning, no. But now, I've got loads. I am a Dogecoin guy and have some money in Spaincoin (if the Auroracoin air drop works, I'm rich, if not, I loose a thousand dollars or so.) I got burned with Mazacoin. Still don't know why that Payu guy just faded out. Flappycoin seems like a waste to me, never looked at it but now I am ...
Will I get rich if Flappycoin goes up? Extremely.
Will I dump my Flappycoin if it shoots up in value? Absolutely. Immediately.Corporations change their plans all of the time. Flappycoin is a useless shit coin with no value. It almost hurt physically to sell bitcoins for something so worthless.
Why not wait until it is official? I want to be rich now.
Why am I telling everyone? Because I'm guessing there will be feeding frenzy on Flappybird especially when noobs get wind of this. I really want to feel what it is like to be a whale.
LOL GTFO In other news, Bill Gates is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto and will give each bitcointalk member 100 BTCs
