Hi community: I have two antminers t17+,and a S9 connected yesterday there was a blown fuse and had to change the wiring to support the electricity charge. However after the fuse was fixed, i decided to upgrade the firmware for both machines but Only one t17+ and S9 came back, the other T17+ didnt come back. The t17+ that didnt come back, i tried to upgrade the firmware with the normal T17 firmware by accident, but it didnt work. After upgrading it with the T17+ correct firmware from bitmain it said success and rebooted. However it always stays on socket refused error, for over 30 minutes it wont connect at all. I tried changing the ethernet cable, changing pluggets, tried different pools, when i ping it is recieving signal, but when visiting miner status, nothing shows up. heres the log: Please help! Hi, in the start-up, I see that the miner this stop when he tries to increase the frequency of the cards, and therefore never starts, which seems to me odd, is that you have tried different firmware and that has not not solved the problem ...
I suggest you, I test my firmware (available in the software section), it has a different starting system, this could solve your problem, if this solves your problem then it's great, and if my firmware does not please you for X reason, you can always go back;)
just sit ...

... but when visiting miner status, nothing shows up.
What do you mean by nothing shows up? you were able to pull the kernel log from the miner so that status page also must have come up, try to hit Ctrl+F5 , also a screenshot would be helpful. If this is bitmain firmware, on the miner configuration tab, right at the bottom there is 'Work Mode' tab, make sure it's not 'Sleep Mode'.

I think OP is just not giving it enough time to boot. First Kernel Log seems to be okay, it started tuning and I am not sure what happened after (I assume OP restarted his machine). Second Kernel Log is also fine, this line: 2020-11-27 11:28:34 driver-btm-api.c:2471:bitmain_board_init: Enter 30s sleep to make sure power release finish. means it just started booting up and is doing 30sec sleep (not sure why Bitmain implemented this), after that it should start tuning and then mining after a few minutes. @OP, leave your machine for 30min to see if it will start mining. I have a great deal of experience with impatient people who just RMA-ed units I sold them because it wouldn't start mining in 3 minutes after plugging in. Otherwise, if this is not the case, check your configuration. After updating firmware, you might have wiped your settings clean, and it boots up but doesn't have settings where to mine. Also, what voltage are you on? 220v?

[...]
I leave it mining for 30 minutes or over, it seems the machine restarts on its own, and only mines low capacity using asic.to firmware. I am using 220 V. [...]

Update: problem persists,it wont mine in normal mode only connects in sleep mode. It is fixed when i flash asic.to firmware but with that firmware even if i set to overclock to 66TH it doesnt mine over 15.

Post a screenshot of the miner status, the way things seem to be now are most likely one of three reasons
1- PSU is full of dust, it's getting hot and it goes to protection-mode This is more probable than the second one, and to troubleshoot it you should try with a different APW9+ or try to clean the one you are using now (obviously make sure it's unplugged when you do that)
2- PSU is dying, can't supply enough juice
To troubleshoot this either unplug 2 hashboards and leave only one running, or set a very low profile on Asic.to
3- Hashboards are getting hot so the miner shuts them off
it's unlikely given the short run-time you have, but it's still a possibility which you look into if the above turns out fine.

https://i.imgur.com/qhSt0gw.pngThe minerstatus does not show up anything in workmode, no matter how much time has passed and miner automatically restarts. The miner status does show alive connections when its in sleep mode. Going to troubleshoot psu now.

I'd advise reverting back to original firmware (unselecting "save settings" when updating firmware), leaving the machine for 2-3 hours and then posting the logs. Asic.to autotune can take days sometimes if hashboards are really bad, and I am not familiar with all the names in Kernel Log that Vnish uses, however, I am well versed in original firmware kernel log (yes there is difference).
Also, if try the things mikeywith recommended you. Even though I doubt PSU is dead or dying, it's worth ruling out.
Also, how is it possible that you are leaving it for 30min+ but all your logs are in range of 3-10min. If your machine is restarting constantly after few minutes, that might just be the profile doing autotune and you didn't let it finish yet (yes it can take hours / sometimes days as I already said). If that is the case, Kernel Log might not show the tuning steps. Go into miner configuration>mining profiles and on the bottom of page you will see 2 kind of logs. One is Kernel Log or restart log (not sure how he calls it there) and shouldn't give much useful info, that one should be on left. On right side you will see auto-tune log. Copy that and post it here.

I cleaned the psu from the inside, a lot of crap came out it was dirty. And it started working now. However i will switch to asic.to firmware after a bit. Thanks everybody!

If that is the case, Kernel Log might not show the tuning steps.
I think the tuning logs only show in the mining configuration page, the same tab where you select the tunning profile under the name (Mining profiles), in other words, the URL is 192.168.x.xxx/#/minerprofiles , the kernel log which OP posted comes from /kernellog, and IIRC even if the miner restarts in the process of Auto-tuning that kernel log might not restart along with it. It's been a while but I think this is how it works, perhaps one of us should look into it. I cleaned the psu from the inside, a lot of crap came out it was dirty. And it started working now. Thanks for the follow-up, it's unusual for people to report back, so you deserve merit, if you really want to thank us even further, update the thread in a few days to confirm that the issue was a dirty PSU getting hot and causing the miner to restart, these updates will be helpful to other members.

Yeah, that is what I was trying to say, I probably got lost with words so you didn't pick up my thoughts. Kernel Log should persist through restarts triggered by asic.to autotune but should not persist through reboots. AutoTune log persist through everything. But well, as OP seems to have found a problem and fixed it, no need for further testing.

just here to confirm the issue was a dirty psu, also overheating damaged one of the T17s a few days later, the hashboard comes on and off sometimes, i cant be assed to check how to fix that i read its something with cheap soldering.

Hi, in the start-up, I see that the miner this stop when he tries to increase the frequency of the cards, and therefore never starts, which seems to me odd, is that you have tried different firmware and that has not not solved the problem ...
I suggest you, I test my firmware (available in the software section), it has a different starting system, this could solve your problem, if this solves your problem then it's great, and if my firmware does not please you for X reason, you can always go back;)
just sit ...
i know its an older post but thanks for the OS!! lost one board on my T17 could not find the cause. 1 month later i changed pools and the whole thing stopped. installed you OS and bingo 10 min of auto tune and were back online both of us now
