Big different from last two years airdrop with airdrop project right now, we found many airdrop ask for sending eth gas fees transaction for receiving coin. Looking with last two years airdrop just need to fill form without anything task like joining telegram channel, follow twitter account until share link on Facebook or twitter but we got bigger reward with one airdrop can earn more than $100, but now need to sent fee if wanna claim airdrop coins and disqualify if not sending eth for their wallet, but the reward is very little after listing on market exchange, but I will join with new airdrop now if not ask for sending eth gass.

We are getting more and more different ways of crypto scamming these days, I understand that people want to see a lot better projects but as long as there are naive people who fall for these scams easily, we are not going to get rid of these. Twitter scammers are getting lower and lower everyday, and they are getting banned a lot as well and there are even lawsuits against them nowadays so it is getting lower, it will never end but it is getting slower at least. So they moved to this, if you find a way to prevent these, they will move to something else.

Scamming in the world will not end, as long as there is a way to make money "without working" people will do that, what they do not realize is that what they do requires effort, effort which would profit legally if they used for something better.

The legit airdrop is rarely happening dude. You can also count how many airdrops that being launched in every month compared with how much from those airdrops that have been ended as legit airdrop that gave legit money for the participants.
Almost all of those airdrops have nothing to the participants but they were putting very strict requirement which is totally non-sense.

This will actually make other people confused because when we consider an Airdrop to be a scam, then we will not immediately follow it, so there are only two ways to avoid it, first doing research on the Airdrop in depth and the second ignoring it even though the Airdrop promises rewards which is great for all of their attendees.

Well what he means is just consider an airdrop as not serious thing. It's mostly shitcoins if you just randomly follow any airdrop out there and putting a high expectation by dreaming of earning huge chunk money might make your disappointment even bigger.

Yes, obviously any airdrop requiring participants to pay fees in order to receive tokens is scam. Some even try to hack participants by asking for private key when filling form, and some newbies who are ignorant fall prey to this. We just need to be careful when filling airdrop forms, also avoid filling email used to register on exchange. Nowadays very few airdrop even worth it, I prefer an airdrop whereby you just hold tokens without filling any form, yet receive tokens after snapshot like the recent SPARK airdrop for XRP holders.

i can say that the scam airdrops is more appear frequently than some legit ones. they didn't turned to be scam, but they were scammers from the beginning.
i've joined so many airdrops, their token ended and roted in my wallets. i can't exchange them. maybe airdrops is worth to do for some people, but it's really annoying when you get the scam one. i think they exploit airdrop participants to boost their social media with a cheap price or for free. and your'e right, when you're not sure about an airdrop that you want to join, just don't join that.

I see that Airdrops don't make much sense to the project or to everyone, as there are a lot of scams right now and almost 99% of the airdrops i am seeing are meaningless. But the form like like, follow, comment, ... is not really effective for the project, i see the paid airdrops recently it's like paying for users who use their services, Uniswap is an example. People should not expect airdrops because it will be difficult to bring laughter like the night airdops of the past.
