Mobile wallet development takes time but if it's past half a year it will be a really long time. You should do some research on when was the last mobile wallet development last if the team has confirmed it in the last 2 weeks so be patient as wallet mobility will be released soon.

I agree, mobile wallets are very convenient nowadays, but it is not necessary for every project to have its own wallet, you can use, for example, Trust Wallet, which supports all coins.
Are you saying that trust wallet supports all coins that's available in crypto space? You are wrong, trust wallet only supports some coins, I think like up to 100+ different coins but we have thousands of coins today, isn't it? OP is talking about fresh projects with own blockchain, it takes time for such projects to get listed on trust wallet

In my opinion, mobile wallets are indeed very important to make it easier for everyone to make transactions, especially those who don't have a PC or laptop, this can be very helpful, but making a mobile wallet is not easy in a project, because it must be planned to design a very good system for that. It will take a very long time to test to ensure that the wallet app is truly ready to use for everyone.

With all the vulnerabilities that Mobile wallet possess someone seems to be scolding team for not having mobile wallet, most of these DEFI projects are Ethereum tokens, why are you not scolding Ethereum team for not having Mobile wallet. You can use Myetherwallet, MetaMask and Trustwallet if you are looking for mobile wallet and they are free but don't keep huge amount on it

Hardware wallet is the best, but if you can't afford it, you can use Electrum Wallet. Electrum is an open source wallet and it's completely free, like your own bank. Never hold on to Coinbase or any other exchange. This is very risky. Electrum wallet is best after hardware wallet.
Hardware wallet is recommended if you have large amount of cryptocurrency but it's okay too to use mobile wallet if your crypto is not that much but be sure to use and download mobile wallet which are non-custodial, there are many of them in the playstore.

It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.
Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
I agree with you, we all have smart phones to check our portfolios from anywhere. We should be able to do the same with our crypto coins. I understand the security risk for a mobile wallet are much higher, but at least we should be able to have some form of mobile interface. A PC is great and probably most of us are using it because of the pandemic and lockdown, but once the pandemic is over we will be more outside again. I wish the forum had an APP.

I do agree that mobile wallet is crucial nowadays and just feel more convenient but a new project usually lacking the resource to create one therefore they decide to make desktop or web wallet just to test the water. Once the project kicks off and gaining more and more attention they will eventually create mobile wallet. maybe there's technical reasoning behind that decision we don't know for sure and I guess most of blockchain developers specializes in desktop or web.
Guys, I don't see any problems in all this. If a new project that comes out has not yet made its own wallet, and if it represents a really worthwhile coin, then I am more than sure that it will definitely be added to existing multicurrency wallets. A shitty coin and your own wallet will not help. Or I am wrong in my vision of the problem.

It is still based on the project status, it's part of their project plan but they haven't reached their target to be able to create their own mobile wallet. Creating one would cost a lot, but some projects started mainly with an app, which they dedicated a huge amount of funds, cause maintenance is costly. Legit projects risk and invest in their projects, but not everything works, but overall, I agree with your statement, as mobile app is much efficient and sure friendly.

I think here I can completely disagree,,, I do use mobile a lot but I have tried very hard to keep all my crypto off my phone, everything is either on a computer I use (which actually I clear when I stop using) and just rely on extensions like MM for eth to work on browsers that I can remove/uninstall as soon as I am done. I do use mobile for crypto related stuff but never for wallet. Just cannot trust my own device or connections plus all the other apps possibly listening to me:)

Mobile wallet should be considered if there is such a thing, it is likely to attract more people to invest. possibility includes everyone but also depends on the product of project, if we are talking about a product that requires the use of a mobile wallet to transact this is mandatory.

There are so many mobile wallets that supporter multicurrency feature and is not that enough? If you are using imtoken and you can add more ERC20 assets into your wallet easily. The dev knows about that and that's why they were cooperating with the platform that provides the mobile wallet to support their token. The dev just need to create more and more partnership or cooperation with the trusted mobile wallet provider.
You guys are just posting without reading first, OP is talking about projects that are new and don't make mobile wallet available for adopters and investors, veil coin for example is a privacy coin that has no mobile wallet, it's not available in trust wallet or coinomi wallet, the team only build the windows and Linux wallet

Perhaps it was not their priority at this point, maybe the first thing they want to do is create a desktop wallet and then move to mobile. Yes, I agree that having a mobile wallet is very important as this may make our life easier but we still have other options. Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
Again, it boils down to preference, me? I don't mind to use a desktop wallet, much easier to me. One thing to note though that having a mobile wallet might be more vulnerable to attacks as it is always online.

If a project has no real usage, I think mobile wallet is totally unnecessary. Because, you can simply hold the fhnd into pc wallet or exchanges or web wallet if available. Also, mobile wallet add no good security. It’s riskier kn my opinion as we give a lot of permission to different apps which can get our data and compromise the data.

A PC or web wallet is easy to make, and the mobile wallet is needed by an App developer, which is less than a PC wallet or web wallet developer. Hence, every good project has their all wallet PC, Desktop and mobile and some project don't think about the mobile wallet and just running their project in the same wallet so we can just wait for mobile launching wallet of any project and can't force to them.

This is right when my friends are doing bounties almost 3 years ago, I am the only one who uses PC. all of them used CP to promote the campaign they are belong to. Nowadays, people who came to the crypto industries more likely to use smartphones for their trading purpose or investment that's why mobile wallets need to have some good updates and development too. Mobile wallets cons are fakes because there are lots of those fakes wallets in the play store, one should be extra careful when downloading and transferring their crypto assets to their downloaded crypto wallets.

It is very handful and to carry your investment in a small gadget which is our phone. But I don't think it was the safest way to secure our fund there. Prone to hacking? What if your phone gets lost? Do we have another way to recover our assets there or it only just stuck there until the time that the phone has been recovered? If that only be the way, I'd preferred not to us used it.

Yes, and not only that, for now there are so many mobile wallets that are safe to use, one of them is like you said and there is also like myetherwallet which can also support all crypto coins at this time.

indeed using a wallet on a PC or computer device is easy to use but you must know that it is more efficient and safer to use a mobile wallet such as a trust wallet, from that wallet you can use it to make transactions easier because transactions only use mobile without having to use other hardware.

convenience or to make it easier to control altcoin is really needed by using a cellular donpet, we can see it anytime and also make exchange transactions on cellular wallets, and for web wallets we make transactions when we control it on a PC, but hardware wallets remains the safest, it's just the price that makes you think twice about owning it, but on a mobile or web wallet we only need to download it

It might be important but not essential for any project. You would have known this if you go through the whitepaper or roadmap provided they have one. Many serious projects have plans that run for a long period of time. This is because Rome was not build in a day. It take time for many of them ( apart from scam project) to fully actualized all what they need. However, there are many decentralized mobile wallet that support many of the blockchain technology that are being used to develop many of this coin you are holding and one great thing is that such wallet allow you to add custom tokens, so you can add your token on the wallet. One of such is the trustwallet and Tokenpocket. They are both available on various mobile stores for download but you need to know which blockchain technology is being used to create the token you are holding. ERC20,TRC20 etc.
