Do not be fooled to think that a project that has a mobile wallet will automatically get liked neither. This is something that is both necessary but not guaranteed of success at the same time. If you do not have it, you could still be worth a lot of money, but if you have it you could worth nothing as well, yet when you are good AND have it, that would be the best of both worlds and you could totally get a big use out of it as well.

What can I say, this is a world where nothing guarantees your success but if you do all of it, that will definitely help you when you combine all these little things together. I am following a project that has a mobile wallet for example and it worths absolutely nothing in the end, like a few cents and the market cap is few hundred thousand dollars, that's it.

If it is significant relies upon the user, I do concur that mobile wallet is essential these days and simply feel more advantageous however another task generally inadequate with regards to the asset to make one consequently they choose to make work area or web wallet just to try things out. I likewise lean toward ventures that have mobile wallets since I think that its more helpful to utilize.

many people still think that mobile wallets are too dangerous to keep there large amounts of coins so they prefer usual online wallets. if you lose your telephone with mobile wallet installed someone could get all your coins.

That will happen if only he will be able to guess your mobile password, and then guess wallets password. Mobiles with Android I think it is possible to install a software, even on a locked device and unlock it. With iOS - probably impossible. Even Apple say that if user sets a password to unlock, they are not able to unlock it (at least they say so).

I find it really uncomfortable using web wallets, it feels like each time I need to make a transaction I have to run back home to use my pc, which i don't find cool at all, mobile wallets are more convenient to use, because I'm always with my phone even when I go out unlike my pc that is always at home, but I don't know why new projects still prefer creating pc wallets instead of mobile wallets, after all there are more mobile than pc users, not everyone own a pc, that's wh most investors who don't have pc get turned off .

Many people think that way but it was before. Right now, people do prefer their wallet to be on their mobile phone because it is more convenient than using a desktop wallet. And if ever that the phone was lost or get stolen, I am sure, the owner will always have his own private key to open his wallet using the other device.

Not all projects are meant to create their own wallet because they offer a different services and listing on an exchange is already enough for them. We can ask the exchanges to have a more compatible feature for a mobile user and I think some good exchange already have this one. We have our local mobile wallet which perfectly run for many purposes and we’re so lucky to have this one, its coinsph. Smiley

You are right. The risk of using a cellular wallet will be to lose money if their cellphone is lost or damaged. Unless they back up the private key and public key securely. But the problem is, many cellular wallet holders don't back up their private and public keys.
I already learned my lesson when it comes in mobile wallets especially on the wallets from the past not just for btco, I remember downloading many wallets before for different altcoins or ICO projects before but when I changed phone I didn't able to backup them and when return to see those amount, their prices almost have no value now. So it will better to only have one or few wallet that we know we will able to backup as well to monitor.

Besides that, I think ERC20 also provides a lot of wallet options, right? Metamask, myetherwallet and others. everything also supports mobile wallets. I think you misunderstand that all projects must make a mobile wallet, because not all projects have the same goal in terms of feature development

I agree with your opinion. Mobile wallet is an important issue to cryptocurrencies since we are living in the mobile era. A person currently have at least a smartphone in their pocket. Smartphone has become an important part of our life since it was created. Most of our activities are recorded on this tiny invention.

If you truly want to become successful with your blockchain project, having a mobile wallet is never a bad idea. Customers are in need of this feature

I agree that most people especially those in poor countries value their phones over computers.

When they have to buy an electronic device it's always going to be a phone first and they rather spend more money to buy a decent phone than put the same money into a cheap computer so using a mobile wallet allows the coin to reach bigger audience.

On the other hand mobile wallets can have more issues and be less stable than desktops and devs usually start tests with a desktop wallet so they have those anyway without having to develop additional mobile software.

I don't know what project you are talking about, I do agree that mobile wallet is very important, but from what I see at least in this year, most -if not all- of projects already provide mobile wallet, either for Android or iOS. My concern is that some of their wallet can only be downloaded on directly from the website, and it is not listed in playstore/appstore, where we can assure that their wallet is not containing any malicious program.

I understand what you mean. I had been experiencing such a problem with EOS. When the crypto was in its infancy stage, there were EOS desktop apps only. This factor made EOS not so "handy" and easy in use. That's why when some mobile wallets (Atomic, Lumi, OWNR) added support, the crypto became more demanded.

mobile wallets are safer in many aspects, this should be more considered by many developers. I respect developers who launch cellular wallets because it helps token owners or investors to more safely store assets

Yes, all of that is just a matter of time and crypto development in the realm of wallets, and people who are always patient in crypto and always learn new things to gain knowledge are extraordinary people, now there are so many wallets that can be used in crypto, depending on someone needs to wear it.

To be honest, I don't use mobile wallets that often. I only use it when it's urgent, or absolutely necessary. however, for some people, that's a good thing, and easy. Well, I don't blame this, because developers need to push themselves, that they need to consider the convenience, and convenience of each user.

I think you should consider the issue being encounter on the mobile wallet for example the metamask and others there are lots of fake app being deployed in the play store and these bad people are exploiting the convenience that we are experiencing making it the way to stole money from people, if you are aware there are  lots of news the people lost money, not only a wallet but also other some application for crypto here is one:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/fake-uniswap-app-on-google-play-store-has-already-lost-one-user-20-000
https://www.independent.sco.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/android-app-cryptocurrency-fake-clipper-bitcoin-scam-money-a8773376.html

yes it's easy but we have to be very careful because we might be the future victim if we don't check it properly

Almost all replies under this topic are getting the whole point wrong, OP is talking about new projects, this isn't a debate between mobile wallets vs PC wallets, I guess people aren't reading this days, most new projects runs on different chains, meaning standalone separate blockchain and wallet, what OP is saying is new projects like releasing windows and Linux wallets only, excluding mobile wallets and those who don't have windows PC won't be able to invest because of lack of mobile wallet, not all new coins will get listed on wallets like trust wallet and others

For me, who prefers to use a PC to make cryptocurrency transactions, it is not important if projects don't have a mobile wallet.
So in my opinion everyone has different tastes, so some are comfortable using a mobile wallet, some are not. Because for me
a mobile wallet is only a complement, it is not a necessity for new projects to have a mobile wallet.

I don't think it will be more important, because mobile wallets are made for greater convenience for users and the problem is annoying but i do not, most of the big transactions i do on PC, for small transactions mobile wallet is a lot easier. But basically for a project they need to do a lot of work, so depending on the roadmap they will release that product sooner or later.

I agree with you, I also do that like you do about transacting whether it's large or small, I often do it on a PC if I want to transact large amounts, because I doubt if transacting large amounts on a Mobile wallet and certainly have a risk of losing In my opinion, the Mobile Wallet is designed for users who are walking, or having dinner, or also on vacation, very suitable for using the Mobile Wallet, because it will make it easier for us as users of the Mobile Wallet app, but in fact almost all projects have provided a wallet. for their coins, so that users can have it easy and all come back to the development team, how they apply and what kind of concept they want to develop in the future ...
