What people need to know is that this is not the same Croatia from 2018 World Cup in Russia, some key players have left (Rakitic, Mandzukic, Subasic (GK), Corluka), and Modric is 35 years old. In the match with Slovenia, they had only one real chance, which speaks enough that they have very big problems with realization.

Cyprus is nominally a weaker team than Croatia, but they showed that they can offer good resistance to stronger teams than themselves, and it is no coincidence that they played a draw with Slovakia.

Modric is old yeah but I always thought of him as "old" and all due respect, that tourney was a sort of fluke for me that he stood out -- not that I rate him poorly at all, he still features in my "to score" or "to assist" at club level. Betting against Croatia hasn't been good enough odds-wise, so yeah, I did fall for them at the first game. Still think this is theirs to win though -- group I mean.

Wouldn't exactly call 36 min "in the last minutes" but haha good game. I had Ilisic to score in UCL but he didn't start, nice to see him grab one on the big stage. Good luck to you! I'd be taking those odds now except they were probably lucky not to concede at least one more. Still, you'd be chuffed with a draw, wouldn't you? =)

Slovenia made a really good start by managing to defeat Croatia. And they are playing quite well against Russia. The goal came in the 36th minute could really help them stay in the game and they may manage to make a comeback. But their job is not easy of course.

Turkey’s goalkeeper and the defenders are very good.Ozan Kabak is playing very well in Liverpool, Çağlar Söyüncü in Leicester too.Burak Yilmaz scored 3 goals in the Netherlands.Hakan Çalhanoğlu is in great shape.I think there will be a draw.However, Turkey would not be a surprise if they wins.

Turkey has Merih as well, he is on the rise and getting better, I do not know if he will catch the Norway game or not but I would not risk him honestly. Ozan and Caglar is more than enough anyway they are very good players, Ugurcan is awesome as well, he is 100% guaranteed to leave for a big club this summer if he keeps this up, he should have been at some other club already if you ask me, a european team at high level leagues getting paid 5x more than what he is right now.

Burak is a weird guy, I never really liked him, he never seemed like a player who would score a lot, his "style" and his antics in the game never really screamed a good scorer, but dude ended up scoring so much in his life, it is a weird feeling because whenever I watch him it looks like he is the worst striker ever, and for a single moment he ends up scoring anyway after such a horrible game.

Both teams played well in the match. But Russia won 2-1. Both teams scored in the first half but were completely goalless in the second half. But I would be happy if the match was a draw. Because Slovenia is trying their best to score a goal in the second half.

Well hot damn, I know Estonia are the underdogs but they actually played the better football at times and fully deserved the lead -- just a shame they had to let Belarus into the game with that penalty.

Türkiye finished the job in first half. They won't lose points after 2-0, they are playing better. Netherlands is also leading, I think these two teams will finish at first two places in the end.
I'm waiting for Czechia - Belgium game as this is the match of the night. Both teams have good forms and started the tournament with good wins. Both teams want to win the game, we can see an open play and too many attacks from both sides.

Turkey was much better than Norway and they won like I expected but I am seing one more bet for today and that is Ireland vs Luxembourg.
This is clear home win and it is time for Ireland to win some match after long run of defeats and draw results, and I can't see Luxembourg doing anything here today.
It's now or never for Ireland and odds are corret for home win.

Great win for Russia. In the second half Russia proved to have great defenders. They make it very hard for Slovenia to play aggressive and score to tie the game. Slovenia will have to forget about this game and take revenge on their next match.

I saw that Haaland's and Sorloth's one goal each was cancelled by the reason of an offside and they were the right decisions of course. I must admit that I was also surprised that Haaland couldn't score in this game. I also congratulate Turkey for awesome consecutive results.

We have not the goal-line technology. It's a shame.

I am surprised that this qualification cycle is being played without goal line technology. Did anyone watch the Serbia-Portugal match that just ended? In the last attack of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal that wasn't awarded by the referees, but I am very sure the ball was well over the goal line. Nice second half by the Serbians nevertheless. They made two substitutions at half-time and introduced two fast players. That completely changed the tempo of the match and surprised the Portuguese team.
