They are top notch professionals and will play that tournament at any time in any place on any planet They are used to playing almost year round anyway, they know snow, rain, and extremely hot weather. It does not mean anything as in the national teams players are of the highest caliber so they don't need a lot of time to find each other,they select 22 out of a lot of players and this selection process is a tough one that is why we see much better performance during national teams clashes.We see much more beautiful goals from such events and that is why for me the World Cup is the best football event,well as its name says in the world.There will be no edge except that of the quality which is already known before the event takes place by seeing which player each team has called upon for the event.

For the national team, they can play well and the players can understand each other, they don't have to spend a lot of time together. As you said,
