Let's see. First match will be Qatar - Ecuador. I reckon Ecuador will win by one or two goals. Then Qatar - Senegal... I'm not really sure about this one. Maybe a draw. Then we'll have The Netherlands - Qatar, which of course the dutch will win. So, overall I can see Qatar ending with 1 point, and not going through the next stage. My guess is that The Netherlands and Ecuador will advance in that group.

I won't be surprised if Ecuador wins by a margin of 4-0 or higher. Still, Qatar's performance during the FIFA Arab Cup was satisfactory. Managed wins against strong teams such as Iraq and the United Arab Emirates. And they won the 3rd place by defeating one of the strongest CAF teams (Egypt). Also, last month the Qatar team toured Europe and played a series of matches against various club sides such as Udinese, Lazio and Fiorentina. They lost only one out of the 6matches (against Linfield FC).

All results are possible with most of the teams are doing good job in last few months right now we have just predictions which can go into wrong way as well because in this event we have all good teams those came here after winning competitions against quality sides, but Qatar is here just because they are host nation, but preparation is going good for them as well.

Ecuador is also not bad side, but surely home advantage is going with Qatar, and they can go for win and draw all options possible because it's a big event and all here for win Qatar authorities are also doing good work for their domestic set up as well and investing good money for bringing quality as we all know current Barcelona coach Xavi was here as a club coach so its mean they also have potential for doing good.

Ecuador is still something that can be considered good in this group but I don't like the tough game they apply in this case because it could be a suicide bombing for them.
Senegal is still very good, especially with the current conditions, they are indeed the champion of AFCON which clearly brings high confidence.
Actually Qatar is the least seeded team but with the home title hopefully they will give a surprise.

Absolutely agree. There's no question in my mind that Ecuador will end up winning against Qatar in the inaugural match.

It won't be great for the hosts, but at the end of the day it's football and Ecuador is a better team, so they will probably end up winning.

This is not a question of complementing or not because in this case I still feel they are the two teams that can be underdogs in the middle of the Netherlands and Senegal there because indeed I am still championing the two countries for Group A at this time. It would be too naive to say they complemented each other because they would obviously be competing there too.
We are almost close and actually these 3 months will not be long so who they really need to be resolved.

Right now Qatar is having some good intention of soccer fans just because they are host country, and recently they tour few European countries for their preparation of World Cup and have good results but still all things could be happened on ground which is going to set after 90 days as now count down is already in double figure and wait is going to end soon about this mega event where many upsets and shocking results are waiting for us.

I watched the matches of Ecuador, in qualify of South America, they managed to stop Brazil and Argentina:

They qualified directly, on 4th place
Recently, they won against Nigeria on a friendly match, draw against Mexico and won against Cabo Verde

My two cents here:

Netherlands will qualify in the first place. I like the work of van Gaal, the UEFA team here is playing a lot better than others, have experience in World Cups, somehow they always manage to evolve during competition, even if they didn't win a World Cup yet, it's always a team hard to beat.

The opening ceremony is always a pretty good thing for every world cup performance and this is always awaited. Now that we can see how beautiful and unique it is when we are in Qatar, obviously with their wealth I don't think I will mess with this.
As for the match, maybe this will be a difficult thing because Qatar is one of the weakest, especially there they also have the AFCON Champion who can be the underdog for a big team and the Netherlands which is still one of the candidates for the current championship.

Remember the match between Cameroon and Argentina in 1990 (and that was despite two of the Cameroon players getting red card in the second half)? Or the match between Senegal and France in 2002? Or do you remember Hristo Stoichkov's Bulgaria defeating Germany in 1994? Upsets always happen during the world cup. Ecuador is not among the top-10 teams and there is a chance that Qatar may manage to defeat them. But the chances are low. At least on paper, Qatar is much weaker than Ecuador.

I remember that run by Korea and it was full of controversies, however even then Korea was a difficult team to deal with, but in the case of Qatar there is little doubt they are one of the worst teams on the competition, so even if they were to receive some kind of external help, something I will not put past them, the chances they will make it to the next round are low, however I cannot completely discard it as I am sure we have seen even weirder things happening in soccer.

yes this world cup will never be free from controversy, but we agree, we have the same doubts for qatar, seeing their abilities are below average.
And if I'm honest, we will all agree that the Netherlands and Senegal have the most potential to qualify for the next group stage.  however, that doesn't mean we all have to underestimate the team's squad as the weakest squad label.
however they are the host of the event, they will fight to the best of their ability in front of their own public, as long as 2×45 minutes of the match runs, anything can happen.

That's what we are going to see, Netherlands and Senegal. Even Qatar wouldn't be stupid enough to do something so obvious as buying of refs, I mean it would look terrible for everything on their future, people would never consider them as legit anymore and they would have hard time getting players to their clubs.

It's always better to be a good loser, then a sorrow one and if you do that, then it's better for their future considering how they could simply just act as if Qatar is a great nation and not a bad one like people think, if they do that then they could get superstars to their clubs when they are old which they have done for so long now, maybe even pay for some that are not too old after this.

Qatar bought the right to host the world cup by bribing with millions of dollars those officials which had the power to vote on the decision, so we cannot really put it past them to try to buy the referees of their matches, it would be a boneheaded move without doubt but it could happen, so the teams on their group need to keep their eyes open and try to win while giving no room for the referees to try to interfere on the result of the match.
