I wouldn't really compare South Korea and Japan with Qatar, because Korea and Japan have a much longer football tradition, they have invested much more in football, and they have a much larger population and a much larger football base.

I will also jump the bandwagon of people saying NO, and if I could swap them for another team then I would have gladly use it to bring back Italy. Furthermore do you’ll think that it’ll be a nice opportunity to make some quick bucks while wagering against them, and even though I’m expecting super low odds I yet feel that we can earn some good bucks on their matches if we get lucky.

Everytime some of the good teams fail to secure qualification. This time the misfortune fell on Italy. And what about teams such as Chile and Colombia? They are also good teams, but failed to qualify to the world cup because they need to play the qualifying tournament in the toughest confederation (CONMEBOL). And now coming to Qatar, if they could hold either Netherlands or Ecuador to a draw, then it will surprise a lot of football fans. There is no excuse in this case as we are watching in last few years Italian quality is declined, and they are facing this all just because of not adopting thing which are important for keeping players at high level and injuries issue is also having big trouble with them as well which are surely needed to be settled with the players quality and more replacement which allow them to be play on same level.
