Why 4 points? I think they can still win 2 wins in the matches against Mexico and Poland later and of course this they have to win because otherwise their chances are getting slimmer.
They are one of the most underdog clubs so it would be a shame if they had to lose from the start.

In the first half the attack that Ecuador tried to build was not too aggressive, because there were still many wasted opportunities, that's why I say Virgil van Dijk didn't have too much trouble guarding the penalty box area, but in the second half Ecuador became more aggressive in carrying out attacks, making it difficult for Jurrien Timber, Virgil Van Dijk and Nathan Ake to guard and balance the Ecuador striker.

Indeed. It is still the first match, everything is still possible. If Argentina can get full points (3 points) in the next match (second match), they are possible to qualify for the next round. But if they fail again to get 3 points in the second match, their opportunity to qualify will be getting smaller. Considering Argentina is a big team, I am sure Argentina can win the next match and get full points. But they must focus to play and must play with their best, Mexico isn't an easy team to defeat. People have been saying lots of awful things about Lionel Messi and Argentina, they think Argentina won't get past the group stage because they lost to a team that is not a football nation, but for me that shouldn't be an issue because Argentina has what it takes to turn this around, they still have Poland and Mexico to play, for me they are better than these two, I believe this team can pass the group stages, losing a very important player like lo celso  is a big lose to the south American champions but I hope they can replace what he brings to the team.

Not only Modric, but there are many other players who are likely to retire from their national team after the 2022 world cup. Ronaldo, Messi and many other top players seem the most likely candidates to retire after this.

Rakitic and Modric are two good midfielders for Croatia, they are great players with almost the same quality. This year's world cup tournament is unpredictable. Argentina might beat Mexico and once Argentina draw with Mexico then Argentina will go home as well. Qatar goes home early in the tournament. Qatar was very much Happy for first goal they have scored in the world cup, they didn't think that they are going home. But was happy of the first goal... This time all opponents must be watched out for and taken seriously by Argentina because they still have to have points in the group and today Argentina must be able to get full points against Mexico.
