Regarding the "buying bitcoin" part, it's really and advisable thing to do. Normally, we would save money with the bank but, when you see that you could feel better if you managed your money yourself, you definitely don't have a say but to join the train. I'm pleased to see such a resolution.

Wish you were thinking about this two years ago, now you would never ever look at cigarettes (or you'd have so good profit that you would go back to them haha). I have a lot of smoker friends, relates and some of them even say that the money that they have spent on a cigarette from the beginning, would be enough for them to buy a great car. Or they think the following: Oh, if I was collecting that money, right now I would have $10k on my deposit.

In any way, appreciate your decision and I even like that proposal: Quit smoking and buy Bitcoin. I hugely hope some people from cointelegraph and popular news websites will somehow see this thread and make articles about it like it was once when our forum member sold pizza.

You have done a really good decision. Instead of wasting your money buying cigarettes and harming as well as risking your health because of that, you have decided to divert your attention and money into useful thing which is using your funds you have intended to use for smoking before into purchasing Bitcoin. You have really done a great job on that because you are living your life into becoming a healthy individual by quiting smoking and you are being able to gain opportunity of making your money big by purchasing Bitcoin which is sensual because that would create a better future for you rather than wasting money on smoking which will just cut your life into short because of health risks and environmental risk (pollution) that it contributes. That's really a good decision, It will not only improve your health but also make you money in the long run. I wish I could do that, I started smoking been 1 year, and it's really impossible to quit smoking right now. But I will try my best to do that, you inspire me, thanks a lot. Lol, we're just the same path, I can't also quit smoking, I guess it will take time before I will consider my self quitting in smoke but in a short period of time just like when you decided to quit in just a couple of days, nope! I can't do that.

Indeed, that is a good decision. There could be another way that you can invest in bitcoin without having an option of quitting in smoke because on my own, it is really hard to do and maybe it will take a months before I can fully stop on it.

Where did you buy this? At this rate, you should have paid $56 instead of €56, unless you spent a lot on withdrawal fees. Exchanges usually charge anywhere from 0.0003 to 0.001 BTC to withdraw, which is far too much for small amounts. The alternative would be to keep your Bitcoin on an exchange and withdraw everything only once every few months.

Or:
Use a site that bases the withdrawal fees on the actual estimated transaction fee. This one for instance currently gives 0.00349492BTC for €56, almost 20% more than what you got. Long-term, that's going to be a large difference!
Buying on Sundays is perfect for fees: usually transaction fees are lowest on Sundays. And if you do weekly withdrawals to your own wallet, you should consider consolidating your small inputs when fees are low so you don't end up with many small inputs (and very high sending fees) in the future.

Thanks for your attention to detail. I live in Germany and I use Binance to buy/sell. Because of my distraction, I have sent 56 USDT from my cold wallet(my savings are there) to Binance to buy. Because at the weekend it wouldn't be fast to send Euro from my bank account to Binance.(It takes 2 days somotimes to transfer money from German banks) Instead of sending €56 worth of USDT, I have just sent 56 USDT and I traded on BTC/USDT pair.

I will send more USDT now to buy the rest of €56 equivalent BTC so instead I will invest $70 weekly and I will update my post.

From now on I will send $70 worth Euro to my Binance account on Fridays but I will trade on Sundays. I even didn't realize that I have made such a mistake. Thanks again.

How did you stop smoking in one day? I would die. I do want to stop too and I have a vape but it's just not the same. Plus I don't seem to be able to mix juice very well. If I had stopped smoking I would have thousands of more$$right now since I had to sell bitcoin at the beginning of last year to cover my habits.

You know even Ozzy Osbourne said cigarettes were the hardest drug to get over and he has done all sorts of drugs. People who don't smoke don't realize how much of an achievement this is. It's like being a fat ass and then losing so much weight people don't recognize you anymore

that's a great idea but why bitcoin? there are still many altcoins that have potential in the top 10 altcoins, try them at altcoins and find a good top altcoin, I suggest not only in bitcoin but altcoins, that's just my advice, if not interested, no problem

You did a smart solution to quit smoking, bro. Only a few people can make a useful solution like you and brave to quit smoking. Many people have difficulties to quit smoking because they feel so bad once they never smoke again full-day. Even they can be like drug addiction, so it is very difficult to quit. I keep buying every Sunday and I quit smoking. I updated the thread every Sunday also. I thought I bought at the top price every Sunday but now I see Bitcoin price is almost doubled as I compare to the first week I bought. It’s a very good experiment for everybody. I wish I could buy more instead of just investing only weekly ciggarattes cost.  I will keep this thread updates. Thank you guys...
