That's a very good decision, it's better to buy bitcoins than to buy cigarettes.  we will get disease and it could even cause lung cancer, better raise money to buy bitcoins to get bigger profits.  don't look for disease or waste the money we have, it's better to look for profits in the crypto world.

I think it doesn't mean that whenever you're going to buy ciggarette, you instead buy bitcoin that is such a low cost. I think your term is that you save your money in buying bitcoin so that in the future you will have enough savings in order to buy bitcoin and then hold it. That decision is indeed a good and very wise choice. A lot of person today doesn't care about long term plans but for only their short term plans. They are contended to what they have today or at the very specific situation yet they don't think about the future. That decision is a very common but very helpful idea in order for the future to be ready. Instead of going to your vices, jsut save up for your future preferences and use. Good Job!

Being a non-smoker, I have always wondered why people are spending so much on cigarettes. We all know that more than 80% of the amount that we pay for the cigarettes are made up of taxes. So why should anyone go for this overpriced and expensive habit, when it can give you lung cancer as well? But there is some truth in what TopTort777 said. If I compare non-smokers with smokers, there is not much difference in their financial status. At least I could not find anything obvious.

Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is $10. It cost me $70 per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing $70 in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Thank you all for your support guys. 1. Week I bought 0,003650 BTC. Even the last 2 days it was cheaper, I waited until Sunday to buy. Rules are rules. I edited my post and let's see what is going to happen.

Btw, to be honest, I couldn't stop smoking completely. But in 3 days I only smoked 5 cigarettes in total. I smoke cigarettes for 10 years. I quit smoking for 1 year before. So I can do it again. Probably I will not smoke more. I feel better now.

I followed Allen Carr's famous Easyway to Stop Smoking method to quit smoking before and in my opinion, it's the best way I have ever tried. I am sure it will work again. For smokers I can recommend this method.

edit: I converted € -> $ to evaluate easily. I invest $70 weekly.

It is already amazing the you quit with smoking since it is hard to remove to someone's system if they were there for a longtime. Another good choice is to invest the money you saved from supposed to be smoking things. I'll bid good luck on your future endeavors. Cheers!

The fact that you stopped gambling and make it into an opportunity to invest and earn is just amazing. Not all smokers can do this, they might calculate the expenses they've done in a week or month but they won't be able to do this immediately.

Anyway, the OP is in right direction. If he can not quit smoking, he can pause for few years, invest in Bitcoin, sell in future and did not spend money on cigarettes anymore. Just hope that OP will give us some updates and not abandon this topic. Im really interested to see how his history will end.

pausing is as good as quitting , others out there cant quit or pause but op can do it but if he will soon sell he will amaze how much money he collected and he thinks that he can buy more cigs or i could be wrong and he will get motivated to keep on savings because he will love the result .

I think is you spend 100$ every week for investing with bitcoin just one year you will be new rich person by saving your smoking money with bitcoin. I think $100 every week become $500 next year and if you keep hold it for long time, never wake up and always save your smoking money for investing in bitcoin because you can earn more later when see bitcoin raise to higher price.

In your action, you'll get healthy leaving and wealth for investing in a potential cryptocurrency which is bitcoin. Smoking seems to have become a staple in your life, and is not easy to get rid of.
but if you already have a strong determination, everything can be overcome. There are many alternative ways to keep you away from cigarettes. One of the only actions taken by the OP, by diverting money for cigarettes into Bitcoin investments.

Everyone does have different thoughts and ways, but with a strong determination everything can be handled well. You are lucky to be in this forum, there will be lots of good advice for you.
