Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Your question was not coherently asked which makes it unclear. Can you try to explain clearly what you are asking our help for?

Was the exchange you are using hacked?

If so, what is the name of the exchange?

Did you mean you need to claim back your lost funds?

There is no exchange called wex, but there is an altcoin called wexcoin (wex).

Were you unable to exchange the coin on a exchange platform you are using? Just give clear explanation.

The recovery won't happen dude and since no personal information was given there is no use to do a KYC verification. Everyone can claim to be a particular user of the site. Saying that they have lost their password or whatever excuse they have.
Beside the NZ justice, I believe most of the coin have been sent to the Federal Security Service in Russia
Vinnik received a five-year prison and that's the end, it won't go the way MtGox is going...

...

He mentioned the name in the title (even 2 names). Everyone who knows what's the site and what happened knows what @OP is talking about.
Wex has nothing to do with wexcoin but you can only figure about it if you know what he's talking about

I don't know how much you lost in the exchange but I would advise you to plan on moving on. Recovering you lost money or being able to bring back the exchange is going to be close to impossible. So don't expect things to ever come back to normal again

There is no exchange called wex, but there is an altcoin called wexcoin (wex).

Were you unable to exchange the coin on a exchange platform you are using? Just give clear explanation.

There are so many articles about the drama around the exchange, here are a few;
1. https://www.coindesk.com/criminal-case-against-failed-wex-exchange-points-at-russian-law-enforcement
2. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-50821547
3. https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2019/12/154767-bbc-report-russian-military-intelligence-stole-450-million-in-cryptocurrency-from-wex-exchange/
