 I experience this fake telegram group, i am already become a victim of it, so now i am more smart and i did not interpret any people who add me on thier telegram group. Beware of the fake lending service on a telegram group that collect processing fees or colateral fees they are fake, they want you to send a few amount of ethereum before you can get a big amount of ethereum that is thier way to scam you and at the end of the day you will be block and you cannot get anything. So beware guys scammers are everywhere they are always active so be wise.

This is actually an old telegram scammer strategy and more of it will still happen to your account if you dont change your telegram privacy and security setting cause every telegram user will have the freedom to add you to any groups or private chat you.

I often get private chats from someone I don't know on telegram, but after that I deleted the chat and never thought about opening the chat. As for my telegram group, it is often included without my knowledge, this really makes me annoyed and angry.

You would really be expecting these kind of PM's with unknown people or group into this platform where you do even being added automatically on a group
on where you havent request nor tend to join and with that i do easily just skip and leave out.Yes, its annoying and could really be a pissing thing but
there's no much you can do and as long you do make yourself aware on the risk and doesnt pay up some attention to it then i dont see any problems on this.
Faking everything is always there that doesnt limit out only to this platform but in all sorts that people can stole off money from someone.
So you should make yourself aware.

I think it's the first time for me to hear about a lending service either it's a group or individually since I had disabled anyone inviting me to an unknown group and mostly ignore all of the suspicious messages from strangers. Looking at your case it seems works like the fake giveaway that that running outside which is we should send small money first for something like collateral/fees.

That's why we should be very careful with the groups they are joining, without your involvement if you join in telegram better get out of that telegram otherwise, you might get scammed from those telegram groups. Yes, we have to change our privacy and security settings, otherwise, it is difficult to control those scam groups.

If they don't config their Telegram settings for Privacy and Security. Groups and channels from the default option, Everybody to My contacts, they will be added to many groups. Those groups try to add them into are certainly scam groups.

Change the settings, and they will never be invited to scam groups. Only if they self participate in scam groups, no one can protect them or don't allow them to do this.

That's right, set the settings on telegram so that only people we know can do something with our account. This is a mode that I rarely encounter, I often find models of personal messages and duplicate brands. they offer crazy things that make my greedy soul increase. luckily we have experience with various scam models. so be careful..

I also have seen many scams like this, a giveaway for Christmas and new year celebrations. What funny is that they also make certain social media that re very the same as the official one. But they only focus on the GA. This is actually an old way fo scammer, But many people are still trapped in that because they are attracted to the reward that they will get, How silly

Fake groups in telegrams are indeed circulating a lot nowadays, they could have offered some kind of giveaway
and airdrop or offered investment through DM. But we should not easily believe the offer.  For those  who have
experience in crypto, maybe we can avoid this scam. But for those new to the crypto world,  this can fool them,
and beginners are usually targets.

There's something telegram user have to do in their end to prevent this scammer adding them or send them private chat invitation.

You are right cause the scam activities is not limited to telegram cause it also happens in other social media platform we have and as you said people need to be well educated about the this scammer operate

i dont know im not a celebrity person but i get tons of mail of various project which i never subscribed i have blocked soo many of this but still receive it and in telegram all the time i have to mute this because unnecessary pop up and don't know ever i have join the group

That means your email already leaked to the public and it's not only you dude but the same thing is also happening with me too as i have been getting tons of airdrop or scam email on my email.
You should not allow your telegram to be invited by the unknown person.
The scammers were using this feature to invite others.

Scammers have now gone advance and using all means to perpetrate their actions. A few days ago I saw myself in some fake groups of real crypto projects while they are claiming to do giveaway for partnership reasons, Christmas seasons and so on. One thing that made me aware was that report spam was placed on the group which was unusual immediately I opened it and went to check for their original groups and it was different. I saw many giving testimonies of having received the claimed giveaway offers which I am sure it's a game from their co-scammers. An innocent individual might fall for it. Please let's beware and take cautions, report any fake group that you find yourself in as spam.

Why did you not name the group so can avoid that group, I experienced being added to a group once you are added you have the option to report and leave the group, I do not want to be added to the group without my consent, and I immediately report it or post it in the scam section if I found out that the group are spammers and scammers.

I don't think likewise, there were reports from the Beginner Section of this forum where established forum members had to fall prey to scammers on Telegram, the point is: anyone with longer throat will or is likely to fall into the pit of the scammers irrespective of they be here for long-time or not. Telegram Channels are the most easiest to create and we'll know how scammers has invaded the social media for their acts, just with care and not be greedy can give anyone edge over a scammer any-time any-day.
