Scammers now belongs in everywhere and they will stole your money if you walk with their following ways. Participating in online platform is always need to check doubles or triples because of not being scammed. Choosing for trade, marketing or other things, everyone should be more careful and need some small research about the project details. It is not so hard though.

not only fake telegrams, even scammers make fake twitter with the same project and they hold a giveaway or airdrop, whatever the purpose and the airdrop must follow their fake twitter and enter their telegram channel and group, I am sure they will trick him

This is one major factor that is making people to lose their money now. I got scammed in a group some few weeks ago because I was waiting to buy a project at listing and I was added to the fake group of that project unaware, I just went ahead and bought tokens through the link dropped in the fake group, it was too late before I realized I have been scammed. We need to set our privacy in such a way that we cannot be added to just any how group.

not a common secret anymore, telegram is heaven for scammers...
creating fake teams, fake testimonials, and scammers who have changed names have often appeared on telegrams. we must be able to fortify ourselves and not easily believe everything they show. immediately refuse if someone makes a request to send coins for gas fees.

Scammers have now gone advance and using all means to perpetrate their actions. A few days ago I saw myself in some fake groups of real crypto projects while they are claiming to do giveaway for partnership reasons, Christmas seasons and so on. One thing that made me aware was that report spam was placed on the group which was unusual immediately I opened it and went to check for their original groups and it was different. I saw many giving testimonies of having received the claimed giveaway offers which I am sure it's a game from their co-scammers. An innocent individual might fall for it. Please let's beware and take cautions, report any fake group that you find yourself in as spam.
Fake groups, fake identity, everything can be fake in the internet.

It is absolutely they'll do as they make all means to make their goal succeed. And it was very unfortunate how these greedy individuals caught into this trick to the fact that they are not listening us. It is the way they brag people offering big returns, profit assurance and really good to be true but in the end, you will just surprise that they all gone and not active anymore when their is complaint.

I've learn in the past, I don't what to experience it again nor to let others having the same. It is really difficult to know if they are reliable and a reason that we don't need to trust someone easily in the internet.

I have faced such scammers many time, I have seen doubling and trippling offers, many people claiming to be real ones from the project and asking to send money or offer something better for extra eth, all these gimmicks are old now and I quickly block all such people and groups I see.

I think it is time that telegram automatically find and tag these scammers and ban there accounts as soon as such activity is seen, also there should be a new tag for official teams, official project groups and channels just like there is a badge in fb and twitter to represent original profile of important people. With these features many people can be saved from falling to scammers.

I think it's kinda impossible for them to find scammers automatically, nevertheless as far as I know telegram already implemented the scam badge if an account has some or lots of reports by other people such as this one - https://ibb.co/bNT3gf3

So if you find a suspicious account you can report that to this handle - @notoscam

Unlike before telegram is use to determine the quality of projects or how serious the teams are in creating their project by updating their investors, but now many scammers abuse it and give false details to get investors even in having fake members to look like they have many supporters. There are many flows in telegram that are not verified like inviting other users to be part of the group without their permission. I was wondering sometimes why I'm in such group when I don't even join in them.

You should really be sensible and make yourself aware into these kind of situations where lots of modus and schemes that you would face on when dealing or lurking into this market.
This isnt something new and it had been bust out already but there are still some noobs which do fall due to greed or lack of knowledge on how things works into this industry.
Make yourself to be wise and just simply make use of your common sense then you would really be saving up yourself into the mess.

It's not new that there is a lot of scam on telegram groups, the method used by scammers is usually almost the same as offering
a give away. Things like that for me who have been in the crypto world from 2016 happen very often happen. Until I get bored of
the many groups that I have blocked, various ways that scammers do to get their victims. I think newbies are the most victims,
because of the lack of education and knowledge is the main reason so many newbies are victims of fraud.

I don't even understand why they are so actively and massively sending spam messages. How to understand their logic, they are looking for people who do not understand at all how the world of cryptocurrencies works?

You should try not to publish the addresses of your social networks and messengers, because then scammers find them in the public domain and start making mass mailings with various "favorable offers". If it has already happened that scammers write to you quite often, then it is worth remembering that no one will ever write first in order to give you money. They are the first to write when they want to take over your funds by deception.

This is actually an old telegram scammer strategy and more of it will still happen to your account if you dont change your telegram privacy and security setting cause every telegram user will have the freedom to add you to any groups or private chat you.

That's why we should be very careful with the groups they are joining, without your involvement if you join in telegram better get out of that telegram otherwise, you might get scammed from those telegram groups. Yes, we have to change our privacy and security settings, otherwise, it is difficult to control those scam groups.

This all depends on the telegram account settings that we use personally, if someone doesn't care less about his telegram account, then every day he will be included in the telegram scam group by people he does not know, and this I have personally experienced in the past.

If they don't config their Telegram settings for Privacy and Security. Groups and channels from the default option, Everybody to My contacts, they will be added to many groups. Those groups try to add them into are certainly scam groups.

Change the settings, and they will never be invited to scam groups. Only if they self participate in scam groups, no one can protect them or don't allow them to do this.

I have several experiences as a victim of Scam Telegram Group. They always invite me to join their groups and claim the group will give me some profit with a low budget. This is an old-style for scamming, I'm not surprised why I got this experience because I'm active in crypto telegram groups so they can be easy to find me in every group that they visited. The worst experience that I've got is when I found my picture in a random account in the same group. Now, I set the privacy and security of my account, I limited the access to invite me in the unknown group, and I never post any picture to my telegram account, even I never use my full name. Until now, I feel free for scamming group and I hope my experience can give you solutions.

It's true even though it's only a telegram account but we have to care because if not, it's likely we can all experience what you have experienced,
so what you say can be used as a lesson so that we don't just ignore our telegram accounts and the important thing is that we must always be careful because scammers are everywhere.

Unfortunately, this is the case, because telegram is becoming more and more popular and it is not difficult for scammers to create a group in telegram and start deceiving people who will join in this group, so we should always carefully look where we are joining so as not to get caught by scammers.

It is the spot of most con artists, they can change their usernames effectively and gatherings could be made out of paid message individuals or an assistance that places counterfeit individuals into that gathering. Try not to be tricked by those con artists.
I'm certain many are now mindful of this stunt since it's been around since years back now, I even got the shopping extravaganza following Thanksgiving bargains on Twitter , wire and my email address, this won't actually stop except if crypto quit working, the best way to stop this drivel on wire is to change your settings, quit getting messages from outsiders and furthermore change the protection settings with the goal that obscure gatherings won't have the option to add you
