Anyone got any P104's running? The Nvidia 1080 type card with no video outputs?
I've seen lots of P106's in farms, the 1060 type card but I haven't seen many P104s. I have a chance to get some at a good price.

I just got one that I flashed the BIOS on, and without any other changes it gets 35 at 156...still profitable but better to just got 30@100 with the 580 for me. I'm still tweaking and looking for different BIOS versions, so I might be able to pull more out of it at a lower power consumption

39Mh at 160Wt at ETH. It`s not 1080 but 1070, only with ETH it gives higher hashrate then 1070. In stock it have 4GB memory but actually all of them have 8GB, you ought to find right BIOS on techpowerup and flash it.

Who told you that P104 performance is like 1080? That's wrong information mate, P104 is just like gtx 1070 with lower power because of 4gb VRAM, it's capable of 36MH when mining Ethereum and presently more profitable on Veil coin |

Although now that I think about it, the fact that it has a single 8 pin power plug should confirm it being based on the 1070. Oh well, I have 6 of them on the way now, I'll find space for them in my computers and put them to work. |

P104 is a hybrid of 1070 and 1080. Shaders from 1070 and Vram from 1080. Or you have ever seen a 1070 with over 40mh? For that price you could have 5700xts that do well over 50mhs ... will still mine eth for years to come and have full 8gb. Plus are also full blown video cards. The 3060ti will be great once price drops back to msrp $399 and is actually on the shelf. |

Since 4gb vram is locked this doesn't make the card better but downgraded meaning it will perform worse than a gtx1070 or gtx1080, if you have a way to unlock the remaining 4gb vram kindly drop me a tutorial |

Vga from motherboard won't work with GPU connected to PCIe slot 1. HiveOS, RaveOS - these OS allows you to flash BIOS from web-interface. You just have to build up your rig with any GPUs. Then you install P104 in this rig and connect from web-interface. 2. You can use integrate GPU as the main GPU. 3. You can install 2 different GPUs. I always use 1. This is really easy. |

The P104-100 use GDDR5X and has memory bandwidth 320.3 GB/s. and the gtx 1070 use GDDR5 and has only 256.3 GB/s. So you see the difference? Next time please check the specs by yourself and don´t tell wrong information. I have enough P104-100 unlocked to 8GB and running with 38mh at the moment (slowdown with every new dag epoch like all pascal GPU´s) Do you have one? You have tried? I don´t think so.   You see it? Or i am stupid and i am the only people who see around 38mh, and see more memory bandwith as a gtx 1070? But yes the p104 made for mining, is worse than a gtx 1070. How to find in this forum. |

According to the Nicehash calculator, the 3060 is about 30% better than a P104-100. But what are they, $400 new?
And I paid $210 each for the 6 I have coming. Used.

I cant say about Nicehash, i can count. 3060ti gives about 60MH and use about 130Wt. P104-100 gives 38MH and use 150Wt. Even without electricity 3060ti 1.5 time more profitable then P104-100. And calculate your electricity, that P104-100 uses x1.5. And its right only for ETH mining. Using other algos P104=1070 |

My P104s are held up by all the Christmas traffic, 9 days late with the post office mail so far. Power supply and riser cables on the way too.

I answer you once more time the same: ETH is more profitable then 1070, with other algos - profit is the same with 1070. If you are mining using Nicehash - you can compare 1070 and P104 with nicehash calculator. If it shows you the same profit with mining ETH - you ought to mine without Nicehash. |
