It is an advertising resource that rapper Megan took when she joined the Cashapp team to celebrate with her fans by sending bitcoin through the app. It is certainly beneficial for the celebrity, Cashapp, and bitcoin. Because bitcoin can go anywhere without limits and borders, faster and cheaper. Although its benefits could be improved if developers build incredible apps to make bitcoin more usable.

That was mostly a cashapp advertisement for sure but it is still a good thing including bitcoin since a simple post could easily influence a lot of people especially if your a celebrity with a lot of followers.

Most of this post are paid by the sponsor to promote in social media, probably a business deals, But most of the celebrities are interested in bitcoin because with a million dollar profit probably a big percentage of there money would just go in a investment like bitcoin or any crypto. But probably only a few celebrities actually know or understand bitcoin as a digital currency.

And only considering that bitcoin is hard to tax, how are they going to disclose how much they are getting paid for such promotion? They can disclose whatever amount they want, right? Because no one knows what btc address they are sending some of their earnings from this promotion.

No one i guess and as you pointed out, no one would really be paying up for the promotion.They are just willing to do so.Who would be the one wont really able to appreciate Bitcoins usage and characteristics and opportunities that it gives? All of us right? No human wont really be appreciating this kind of tech, no matter on what kind of status you do have in life neither your rich or poor, average or popular
it doesnt matter because bitcoin can be used by anyone and also adoption is always on the move and as years passed by we would really be seeing this similar events where people would really appreciate

If the time stamp truly read December 2020, then I think Megan's supposed advertisement of Bitcoin is all about the celebrity and not about Bitcoin. I never knew her until now but I knew of Bitcoin 4 years ago. Again, why did she have to wait until the rally to promote Bitcoin if her post was anything to go by? Anyway, it's just that Bitcoin is a reputable brand, I normally stay away from ant token celebrities promote because more often than not those tokens get over estimated and don't do well in the market.

Since bitcoin is highly in trend these days celebrities will like to include anything related to bitcoin in their tweets to gain the attention. They don't want anyone to pay them, they are using bitcoin for their own purpose to gain the fame.

To be honest, that would be really a piece of good news for us that some of the celebrities are advertising bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies because of their fame and names they will give a good advertisement and encourage most people to introduce what bitcoin is and what are the advantages and disadvantages of it. This is really not kinda new for the fact that there are already lots of famous personalities that advertises Bitcoin before most specially on the platform of Twitter having the same like the photo of the tweet attached by the OP. It does not barely kind of advertising for me with that way but seems like a promotion of the wallet or application where you can attain your reward. Agreed, Celebrities don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin and it's rare to see somehow who doesn't even understand the blockchain and crypto to advertise it. They are only used for their popularity purposes such as the OP exampled. I doubt that rapper has any knowledge about crypto. Investors might not be interested on it but their followers and supporters might, which is the whole point of why they are being hired to advertised the platform.
