Exactly, although there are a lot of positive news for 2021, it might take some time to really realised a profit here because it seems he bought it on top. If you have bought bitcoin in a price of $23.5K, I think you are really happy today because bitcoin's price is now on $26K. So even you are a little bit late on buying bitcoin, you still have been able to gain profit in the middle of it's expensive price today. Buying bitcoin in an above price of $20K is a little bit of a risk because we can't honestly determine when will bitcoin's price will go up or down due to it's volatility, that we might experience a sudden downfall.

OP already earned a profit of around $3k in a short period of time as the price already crossed $26.5k and it was the right decision looking at the price at the moment. He was confident about the price moving higher and he took his chance and paid off. I am not confident to enter at this valuation even though i am confident that the price would recover even if we have a correction.

Of course, as I see it perhaps minimum $30k so see a good profit. Again, if he is here for the long haul then it won't be a problem for him to have this HODL mentality. Bare minimum @$30k and then hope for the best to double up @$50k.

Yup, he also need to stay mentally strong when there is FUD around, for most of us, who at least have been in crypto sphere for the last 3 years or more, we have someone learn how to control our emotions and not believed or at least do our due diligence first before listening to this negative news.

Greed is sometimes the reason why we fail and I understand investors especially a newbie who have a little investment because they want multiple increase to get a decent profit, for some, a 10% increase is already huge but for small investors who invest like $1,000, that's only $100 so it's not really that satisfying, hence they'll continue to hold and maybe hope for an increase of x10 or more.

I agree with you, but if we proceed from this logic and take into account that the market is driven by large players, then the corrections and relatively "small" growth are quite explainable. Big players fix a small profit (30-50%) on large volumes. In this situation, small players are only forced to wait or increase their position on corrective movements.

Most perfect choose you have chance to buy bitcoin at $23,5k because I think at end year always bring bad for bitcoin but not in the end of this year, just waiting few days bitcoin reach above $30k. I don't prediction bitcoin could reach more than $30k because I think is enough for bitcoin raise only on $22k and then continue for going down before raise to higher price next year maybe, but my prediction was wrong because bitcoin have strong going to higher price before 2021.
