7km/h in racing is quite a difference... provided both can reach top speed for the same duration.
Tactics and skills play an important part too.

IMO New Zealand are handling the new COVID cast properly like they have done. I would be
confident that things wont be treated light handed.

Hooefully there wont be too much of a delay.

New Zealand is in light lockdown but for now, we have no more news about more postponing.

The final of America's Cup should start now on the 10th of March and according to l news leak, Luna Rossa will have no chances since New Zealand is rumored to be very, very fast, 3 years ahead in innovation as they said.

Yes it seems like New Zealand are really at the pinnacle of the sport at the moment.
3 years ahead in innovation is unbelievable, is there any other sport which has one
team so far ahead of its rivals? F1's Mercedes perhaps - but not many teams besides I guess.

Good news everyone. Luna Rossa can fight New Zealand it will be an interesting ending.

Yes! just watched the highlights, great to see Luna Rossa being competitive and successfully
challenge Team New Zealand. After the posts above I was fearing the worst that Team New Zealand
would run away with it.

There doesnt seem to be too much speed difference at the moment.

The two races seem to have been won and lost with the start.

Even with low wind teams were close.

They now will race every day till we have a winner.

Race 3 Luna Rossa gained time on Team New Zealand on every leg, very smooth sail.

Race 4 there was a definite speed difference, NZ seemed to be faster for sure but
LR were close for the first leg, second leg saw them make a mistake and its over for them.

So far its hard to pick a winner.

In the 1st race Team New Zealand messed up the start and Luna Rossa won.
In the 2nd race Luna Rossa messed up the start and New Zealand won.

Very equilibrate cup so far, 4 more wins to get a winner!

Brilliant, This is getting more and more interesting, I certainly wasnt
expecting it to be so even.

As I said earlier, the starts are critical, along with close proximity racing
tactics and tacking.

I like that Team New Zealand are not showing their predicted dominance.

Yesterday, Today's morning depending on where you are lining races have been deleted for low wind.
They will try to race again in 4 ish hours so the day skipped it will be recovered if needed in the end.

Always 3-3 we need 4 more wins for one team to have a winner.

Not a good race day for Luna Rossa, they can recover but it is very hard now.

New Zealand needs only 2 points to win the cup.

When you do a mistake with those boats able to racing at 100 km/m you can easily take 1 km disadvantage in 20 seconds.

Just watching highlights now.

Team New Zealand were quicker in race 7, looks like consistently about 3 knots.
The difference in sails gave TNZ the edge too.

3-6 now for new Zealand, they almost won, the second race has been deleted, Today (depending where you are living can be the last day), races starts in 8ish hours.

Yea, the writing was on the wall after race 7 really, Team New Zealand
showed their class and superiority.

Luna Rossa wilkl really have to pull off something very special to keep
the competition alive, a pity, the were really competitive in races 1 to 6.

Their technological advancements have yielded another win. Well done to them.
In the end it wasnt close really.

Yeah, the Kings won again they deserved it but claps to Luna Rossa with their all-time best results versus the champions.
It could be even closer but now eyes on the next cup in few years.

The winner now will choose the location and the next boat as tradition.
