I have always regarded DOGE as a shitcoin, for solid reasons. Those who are aware of the history of DOGE would definitely agree with me. It has managed to survive for all these years, but now the luck seems to be running out. We all saw what happened to XRP, after the announcement from SEC. All it needs is a trigger. DOGE has hardly any intrinsic value and the smallest of the triggers can make it worthless.

Doge has nothing to do with a known scam like xrp. doge has no legal issues its own problems, one of them is high inflation.

Highly suggest going in for the conversion if you ought to hodl, hodling DOGE is a bad idea, I don't think it's a fast pump and I think you'll lose your patience trying to see if you could actually make profit in the future with Dogecoin, hold the bigger ones like BTC and ETH, these are more worth it to HODL rather than hodling Doge, I know the OP would have converted it already by now because of the huge pump from BTC but I think it's better to say these if the OP is planning or still has faith with Dogecoin.

I think holding Doge coin is not a good choice. But it is good for making transactions. Because the transaction fees in doge coin is low as compared to bitcoin and ethereum. But for holding there are many other coins such as XLM, TRX, ADA, LTC BNB etc. Doge coin can't pump high because of its unlimited supply.

current price was cheap and low enough and maybe we its the bottom for doge now. doge coin good as mid term or long term invesment , its price movement really different with another coins. doge coin will give us huge return while bitcoin price recover again and maybe give us multiply return from initial balance.

I dont see doge as long term investment since its have no any good feature on the project, i see doge as scalping tools because the price was very low and its have high market cap on it. Also i use doge sometimes as arbitration tools since its listed on many exchange and have a cheap fee transaction.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

500 doge is 5 dollars 💵 so down side is if you hold it and it crashes it is worthless you lose five dollars.

upside is if it goes to 1 dollar you have 500 bucks.

I would buy 9500 in doge bringing me to 10,000 if i was you.

I would then ignore it until it became 10 cents a coin.

What you said is right, we shouldn't sell Bitcoin for the sake of Dogecoin, Dogecoin price will not increase its price like Bitcoin. We should always grab the Doge when it is in Dips because now it is impossible to grab the Bitcoin at the current price for the normal person. A normal person can easily grab Dogecoin at the current value.

The alt market for doge just hit a spike in price this morning with btc pair with but I think I missed it, doge is pretty doing well and it's a perfect idea to hodl some large quantity of it , I assure you that holding doge for at least six months upwards will definitely give you a good ROI in the mean time. Moreover, doge is a good reputable old coin with decent and strong teams.
