The temporary spike you are observing is because of the recent altcoin rally. Once the dust settles down, the Bitcoin rally will resume and then you will witness a steep plunge in DOGE prices. Doge is now the 9th largest crypto assets in coinmarketcap. I have used this coin for the giveaway to the community and now look at the price of it. I have lost many opportunities and DOGE will be one of them. Even some days ago I had a good amount of doge and I have sold those to buy some other coin when my reserve funds have been used due to market price dump.

don't be too greedy !!! maybe that phrase doesn't apply to doge, no big altcoin that has been on the market for a long time can be like a doge pumping about 700% a day, which is certainly an extraordinary achievement.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

Looks like it was sound advice to keep those DOGE a little bit longer. Really impossible to say what will be next. Wallstreetbets acitvity makes looking at the chart here kind of useless. Maybe just HODL them and look again when the current thing is over. That current thing will surely be a memorable part of crypto history.

After 800% pump in just one day I will definitely hold some doge coin I will wait for has dip buying one thing I see very closely in doge coin chart has price will 2x and 3x every time after any coin tweets about it . It makes sense now,  I wish I had seen this post earlier.  Over the past 48 hrs or so, there has been huge pump of Doge, those who hodl reasonable  amount, have now tripled their fortunes. This comes at a time, when most holders least expected. Never sell your hard earned coins so cheap no matter the amount.

It's just to make sure that you're money is in good coins. Doge is a meme but it's the only meme that's taking a huge chunk of the market and quickly escalated in rankings.

Doge usually surprises everyone once in a while and you need to have the patience to reap the benefit of these pumps once in a while. I was surprised to see the price moving like anything and i had to unlock my old wallets to book some profit and by the time i was able to get my wallets the price started to fall and hence i booked a bit of profit and converted it to bitcoin and waiting for the bitcoin rally to reach its climax to books another profit  .

LOL, not many people think the price of Doge will pump that high. I know, that when the OP has been holding on to a lot of doges since he made the post, then he's going to be very rich right now. holding doge at high prices carries a very big risk because dump can happen at any time. My advice is that when the price of the doge increases high, this short-term trade will be better than a long-term hold but we don't know the potential for a doge going forward

I miss this opportunity, why I didn't read this post before DOGE coin pump. Although this pump could be a trap like 2017 or 2018 year. You should sell your 500 Doge coin. The price has already recovered so many times now you can switch your investment to get profit from other altcoins.

I think now is a good time to sell your doge, especially if you've sold it at 0.00000900 satoshi or at 0.00000700 satoshi, chances are you've made a lot of profit.
Now the price of the doge has dropped to 0.00000400 satoshi and with it the doge gives the  holders the opportunity  to buy back the  price at the  lowest price.
I'm also eyeing the doge market, because it's very prospects for investment.

yeah, it was last year he posted this thread and recently doge is enjoying the pump in the market. i believe this one will not last. so take advantage of this doge market while it lasts. youll never know when will you experience the next pump again. it is not everyday that musk will tweet on doge or bitcoin or crypto. but talking about doge, it is really not for long term investments, imo.
