The current Bitcoin ATH are still on going will or may go up to 30k$ more or less unlike on 2017, the current hype isn't the same as investors are conscious and many new institutions are adapting to bitcoin which makes a stronger resistance.

We can still see some more pump in the coming days or weeks. We may encounter the price correction at early January or late January next year.

Well, you already answered your question. That is right, no one knows when the correction will occur at this moment but if you have enough time, --you can monitor the market nowadays and wait when there is a correction happen. I have doubt too that there is a correction of the price but I keep holding on until there is a possibility that bitcoin will continue to raise up with this month ^{[let us do hope]}. Bitcoin as of now has gained too much positive news and there are some public companies who adopt bitcoin and gave awareness to people, in that way, --bitcoin was taking advantage and the reason the price surged in the market.

Pretty much like in 2017. We went from 3000 to 20000 without any serious correction. If we were to repeat it we'd go to 100 thousand next year.

You're asking if we had a correction. I'd call that drop on December 17 a correction. Bull market dumps are like bear market pumps - small and weak.

We don't know what is the highest price of Bitcoin, but the correction will happen sooner or later after it hit the ath, maybe at $25k, $27k, or $30k, no one knows for sure. Although the price has been going up for several days doesn't mean it has to be corrected instantly, it still going sideways, and some attempts to push for the higher level.

Correction will happen but not in the 2018 style. It will be different this time because this is not a pump led by some retail investors but a growth by institutional investors and they are not so dumb to do it like what happened earlier. It's because the whole narrative for bitcoin has changed, now our investors are those big companies who put used bitcoin as reserved assets. So obviously, they won't simply sell even if we rise to a new all time high. Unlike before wherein 'speculators' are the first one to dump followed by noobs who pushes the sell button without realising what is happening.

So maybe we have seen these speculators are selling now, but it is not felt because there is no panic, but instead FOMO still kicks-in. Of course, eventually an imminent retracement is going to happen, but probably after reaching like $25k-$30k.

Just keep watch, who knows how deep the correction may come. No one really knows tbh, one moment we may consider that that's the correction, but another moment a bigger correction happens. Just observe and watch the market, if it was that easy to know what would happen to the market, everyone would've been traders. I'm also afraid why correction hasn't happened yet. With this continuous rally, it's scary how low we can go if bitcoin's hype ends. Though the price is really satisfying in the value of fiat we should know that everything that goes up eventually goes down. Let's just hope that it won't crash hard like what happened in 2018.

Correction already occur when BTC deep @17.5K USD level and this current trend is a fresh trend, there is no sign of weakening of volume that's why correction still not in sight base on charts and indicators. You will know if correction is near once the volume become low and price become stable at certain level. That means bulls are already exhausted and need to correct at that point.

The year is not ending yet and still many are expecting to see the price pump. Correction might happen after the year end. The correction also happens not in sudden, it goes down gradually. Bitcoin will definitely undergo a correction, but the big trend is still strengthening so far, and if there is a correction in the near future, bitcoin price will move back well and will likely go up to 30k in 2021.

No one does really know when the bigger correction might occur. We've seen it hovering from $23,200 - $24,000. Just take it as the typical market that it's volatile and no can have the right pattern if it will correct the soonest or it will remain stable from where it is right now.

I'm starting to see predictions that we'll go through the same bear market as 2018. But that's them and even though fundamentals have been changed and it's different this time, they're thinking that the same correction would come again. There's always the both sides and opposition for predictions. The important part is you take profit if you need it and stay hodling.

because what you have in your head and call it "correction" is not actually correction. in other words you have unreasonable expectations, so obviously like any other unreasonable expectations in this market it will not happen.
we have already had the correction because a correction by definition is when price comes down a little and not a lot. a nearly 10% drop is exactly the correction that had to happen and it did.

No market doesnt have a correction.It might be somewhat stabilizes but doesnt mean that theres no tendency that it could crash.So be patient and rather than stressing out yourself
then better to be prepared on whats next.

You should be prepare on whats a correction and whats a price crash.You should know on how to deal with those possible events that might happen along the way.
Market could be only have two possible paths neither go up or down.

If you do actively trade then this would really be a very challenging thing.
