There could be poker players that would check into this. Those players that don't want to spend their very own penny as they play poker and is fine with the percentage and distribution that they'll get with OP as the chosen player wins. Although it would be hard for OP to find the right guy.

Other than this is actually a promotion for that website, the only other thing I can think of (which doesn't make much sense) is that you want these players to use a reference code to somehow boost your own payout amount for referrals.

If you can explain the advantage and disadvantages of staking that you mean, maybe people can learn how they can profit from that staking.
People need to know the risk of staking new coins on a website, and they need to realize that the new coin will not always give them the profit in the long term.
Maybe people can search for another website which can be used for staking.

affiliates take 30% of their players' rake on coinpoker, so staking your affiliates (as long as they aren't losing players) could be pretty profitable.

Yeah, it looked like something potentially serious initially, I myself had a time when I considered investing in good poker players and even did it once with a poker player who is a friend of mine. But I guess it's true that this topic is just about referral stuff... As for investing in players for real, I've seen a thread about making such a platform just recently, and I think I saw some limited places allowing this option. But I don't think it's popular, and some might feel very uncomfortable playing with someone else's money because pressure can follow in case of losses.

OP, what limits are you going to stake and are you flexible about the site? Coinpoker doesn't have enough traffic.
