I agree. Only Bitcoin has gained the new all time high during the bullrun but I think we need to wait until year ends if a new record will soon be happening. Altcoins did not make it really on it's original ATH way back 2017 and for me it is too hard for them to set a new record this year.

Altcoins already have good rallies and the price charts don't lie. They rallied very much from their bottoms in 2018 and 2019. It is only a matter of loss in BTC values and if you are considering their all time high prices.

I personally believe that the best way to actually make a profit is to catch which coin has a great future planned for it and nothing else.

If you want to invest into a brand new one, something that doesn't even exist right now but will be listed and distributed in a few months, you could actually see what they can be. How? You could join into a few dozen projects and see their telegrams and twitters, you can see the reactions of the public, obviously this isn't the end of it but you can at least see the reactions, and you can compare them to each other and pick the best ones. Some projects will have few hundred people chatting while others have thousands, some projects will have tens of thousands of likes on twitter whereas others may have over a million. Just compare them to each other and find the one that everyone loves in every platform and you could invest into it.

This is the latest price that Bitcoin has raised from the first bitcoin there is. so it's surprising that Bitcoin has come this far. But don't rule out that tomorrow has a better price.

when demand always increases and there is no additional supply, of course, bitcoin has the opportunity to always increase. but this year it looks like the increase will be a result of public awareness about bitcoin and crypto investments. altcoin season not coming yet , even today i see several major cryptocurrency drop alot.it should be good opportunity for us to get best price for altcoin. felt missed in bull run will make us careless about the risk and we will decided to buy any coins in peak price. better to miss bull run rather than miss our money.

That's just the start with those span of months. True to it, that most projects will say such good things about themselves just to get the sentiment of their investors and soon to be investors.
This has been the circle of the projects at the beginning, they'll show some good stats and PR stunt moves which will move the investors feeling and will show positive sentiment towards that project. But after all of those for show, they will start to act different a little until they finally lie-low.

Personally, it is too soon to say a new cryptocurrency is good or bad and with hype after their launches, price can get new all time high anytime. The matter is after a few years, will those projects survive and be adopted by communities with their real products and real usecases. It is not my surprise as no top altcoins or old altcoins appear in the list. They are stucked with their all time high in 2018.

It is very easy for penny altcoins but for top and old altcoins, it is bigger challenge. They have big marketcap, big hodlers since 2018 and they need to catch very big capital flow on the market to rise x2 or x3.

Ethereum bottomed about $90 in December of 2018 and today it is at $575. I don't call it is a minor rally or recovery for Ethereum. In this topic, the discussion is for 2018 all time highs of altcoins and their future in last week of 2020 and in 2021, the next year. It is a future story and as I said my opinion that top altcoins can reach their 2018 all time highs or if they get strong momentum from FOMO they can get new all time highs in 2021. They, nevertheless, will face big challenge to get all time highs in BTC values. Most of people don't have patience for years and don't keep up their plans for years but I know what you implied.
