TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes

I do like James Bond myself as well, but if you ask me to think about gamblign movies. The first that come into my mind are "21" - you know the one where the wanna-be med uses his mathematical affinity to develop card-counting skills in order to raise money for his tuition. The second one is Rounder - poker related.

Had a look on the article you shared. Just figured out that I haven't actually watched the first 2 Bond movies aka "Dr No" and "Octopussy".

Am I the only one here who is not familiar with that scene ? The latest James Bond, Daniel Craig, lacks charisma in my opinion. That's why I wasn't able to finish any 007 film which is he is the protagonist. Don't get me wrong, the action and story is good especially since it was modern but d*amn Pierce Brosnan is still the best.

Anyway, I visit Youtube because I'm curious what kind of gambling scene is it and I find it thrilling in fairness. Bond's Straight Flush was insane, $100M+ in a glimpse ez!

We all have our preferences, I grow up with Daniel Craig as the James Bond, I do watched some Pierce Brosnan as James Bond but they seem lackluster to me even though I love films from that era.

but you know what to do and youtube isnt the only source for that video , try converter sites and play it on there or download it . that could also fix the problem .

Converter sites are full of ads and some are hiding malicious softwares when you download there so be careful. Restricted videos are a common theme among countries that have a strict government background, maybe gambling is illegal in their country like an Arab state. If this is your first time hearing about a restricted video in Youtube, then you also should know about China, they ban Youtube entirely even though the colors of their state and Youtube matches.

I am not a big fan of James Bond but I saw few of his movies but I didn't see any scene that are gambling related. The top 5 has been deployed already so I can see that James Bond has made a lot of scenes that is gambling related.

But movies are quite very different to real life in terms of gambling especially in terms of high stakes like in the Diamonds movies where James plays a high stakes gambling and challenge the dealer by raising $10k, though there are very few who plays a high stakes gambling but I can say that the percentage of them is very less like less than 10% out of 100% as most of the gambler are hoping to win and they will not take the high risk if they don't have a good chances of winning.

I like watching movies as well. I've watched this good movie, however this is a Korean movie, titled "Tazza: The Hidden Card". I find the scenes thrilling and how players have their own tricks when playing cards. I like watching movies about professional gambling, where I can see different tricks and might be some tips I cna use qhen I gamble.

you know them . koreans are good at making films and if your a fan of gambling movies you are sure going to love what they prepare for but i dont think that the trick that they apply on the movie can also be used on real life but that story can be fictious only . for james bond movies , im only familiar with one movie of him about gambling and that was casino royale . the movie was popular that other gamblers on this forum recognize it until now  . i also played a good james bond game on the ninetendo 64 , it was golden eye but not a fan of this movie

Yes, I am really amazed how good Koreans create their plots and twists when they are making movies. I like searching for different movies from different countris aside from Hollywood. I remember one time I had a James Bond movie marathon since my father is a big fan, it's a movie worth watching esepcially that scene where Bond almost died because of poisoning when he was in a poker table.

Aside from different movies from different countries, other genre such as anime also has good gambling movies. I watched this anime titled " Kakegurui" which is about an elite school where gambling and slavery is legal. Students are evaluated in their school depending on their gambling skills.

When James Bond playing gambling, that will be a good scene for me because he can always shock his opponent with his tricks. But Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery are the best actors who played James Bond. They can act perfectly and make many people charmed, especially the ladies, and he can seduced woman to follow what he said, and make her fall in love with Bond. I think Casino Royale is a good James Bond gambling scene, but I do not know the game too much. But I enjoy watching the movie because I am curious about the movie. I am not thinking too much about the gambling scenes, but that is an attractive scene for people who watch the movie. I am sure there are so many other gambling scenes from the other movies which trying to focus on the gambling games.

I have watched this movie Casino Royale too and so far this movie was a good movie. But what i did get about casino playing in these movie was that it is a gambling or a game that has a touch of luck. What mostly interesting for me about the movie was the ending that James Bond did win the game.

Although I've watched some gambling movies but the most movie that I like is the "21" which amazes me how they did it and not to mention that it's based on a true story.

Have been watching Bond movies since childhood because my Father is a Movie lover so we had no choice as kid to watch with Him as we only have one TV those days ,and along the years i have adopted the movie watching and deny cartoons most of the time.

I remember playing with my childhood friends with their Super Hero toys but Mine is a James Bond Toy Gun and Toy Watch in which they Don't even know the name.

i think there's no intention here about which movie is best gambling scene ,OP only paused to Back View the famous 007 scene in Casino's in which the symbolization of Popularity and Luxury , and also a Good topic to tackle here as we gamblers have boosted because of these scenery .

James Bond Movies are Pure Action movies with a little romance ,and Gambling scene is just a added location to make the story more tasty and not boring .
So recommending to be a Gambling movie is definitely  not a good idea.

You should Try watching more Bond movie ,because those inventions from each movies are mostly what you are using now,specially that Memory card in which in the oldest Movies of james bond was already available but we have just use it in reality 20 years after.

I have not yet seen any movie that conveys the essence of the game with the all that goes with playing live for a big prize or the simple subtlety of a single play that marks you for life when you put a large amount of money at risk.

But whatever the essence of "loading" the whole plot of a movie related to the world of gambling and in particular with the "big game" in movies and scenes, in the case poker the only movie that reaches a point very close to telling us a story related to the world of gambling in a near reality is Rounder, something very fictitious and too armed in some scenes, but in the whole (film) and not in a particular scene they manage to capture the attention in the plot.

Familiar faces: Matt Damon is a self-proclaimed fans of poker has been seen on a few occasions playing the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The film is complemented by the great actor Edward Norton, who always leaves us great performances in the characters that he decides to develop in any movie.

Now in scenes without discussion that those of James Bond are a classic for most but very elementary and quite predictable, the one I remember is Casino Royale (2006) quite well worked and it is seen that they were professionally advised with real players to create that tense environment and those situations that surround a high stakes poker table.

With names scenes out of that James Bond list, I only have a recent one that I saw and one of those that you can safely invite your partner or wife to see because it is a classic Hollywood romantic melodrama that only has one scene or peak moment in which you can subtly start  understand the drama of losing everything in a situation where you say "I can't lose".

Straight flush to J for Nicolas Cage and on the other hand the winning hand straight flush to Q, those who play poker will understand the situation and those who will not criticize it.

Well there are two old movies to see on these days of vacation  one if you like gambling, you can safely only bear it alone and another that you can surely share with other people and even comment on the funny situations that are created around the situation of having the big hand and result in not being it.

Whenever i See or Hear the word 007 or James Bond the one that always comes to My mind is the familiar face of Sean Connery , I know that there is a TV series that Starts the Phenomenon of The Bond but Sean makes this Possible in the Wider and Bigger screen.
