I love the 007 his my idol since the day i watch his movies but most of all i love his movie Casino Royale where is the most outstanding among them i like the way he changed the dealer because he knew that something is happening with the technique of looking into the eye and his opponent thinking that he was bluffing again, with his royal flush is the best. This is the reason why i love playing pooker too i was curious way back then and learn and tried it my self until i got lucky because of the technique of 007 i was using. Not only that i also won expensive old coins from playing poker which i already sold.

James Bond Movies are Pure Action movies with a little romance ,and Gambling scene is just a added location to make the story more tasty and not boring .
So recommending to be a Gambling movie is definitely  not a good idea.

You should Try watching more Bond movie ,because those inventions from each movies are mostly what you are using now,specially that Memory card in which in the oldest Movies of james bond was already available but we have just use it in reality 20 years after.

Yeah it is and aside from action movie it has some part of the movie dealing with gambling. And this i guess what do the OPs wanted to tell here in thread. Though some of us didn't yet watch those movies of James Bond and some of us just watched his some movies like Casino Royale and if you are a fan of action movies and gambling at the same time the movies was good. I am not really recommending this movie cause we have our own type of genre in movies.

James Bond movies introduced the most advanced technology to this world I mean people because from that movie alone a lot of people find such kind of technology is available in the world. And some technologies created just for the purpose of that movie to bring that action more exciting. But its is action-based movies so we can't expect much for gambling-related person there but its good movies to entertain people of all ages.

Agree with it, it's just a sideline of the story, gambling is not the main topic of the film.

For me it remains casino Royale. Obvious, but Bond isn't much of a gambler either. If you want to watch a good gambling movie, I wouldn't recommend a Bond series.

I am not a fan of James Bond and his movies but I do know that Casino Royale is one of those movies with gambling scenes. I wouldn't recommend the Bond series as well since most of the time, gambling is not the main genre of the series. I am not updated with new movies or TV series about gambling so I hope maybe some of you could give me some recommendations.

Yeah, James bond isn't made for gambling purposes, gambling was inserted in the film because they're adults or common for some mafia. There are plenty of gambling films that exist right now and very worthy to watch like California split.

Hi, Karl I really like articles related to the James Bond gambling scenes. So I wanted to watch the James Bond movie titles mentioned
in the article again. Especially the film Casino Royale (2006) is very mind blowing, the James Bond character played by Daniel Craig is
very different and looks more human. As a fan of the James Bond film, I am really looking forward to No Time To Die, whose release
schedule is postponed to April 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Because I also really like gambling related movies, I would recommend the films Rounders (1998), Ocean's Series, The Gambler (2014),
Molly's Game (2017), The Cooler (2003) and 21 (2008). All gambling related movies that I have mentioned are very memorable for me,
if you haven't watched it please watch it i am sure it will not waste your time. There are many lessons that can be taken regarding gambling
in the films that I have mentioned.

The Most recorded in My mind is of course obviously Casino Royale , but i have seen some gambling scene in other Bond Movies .

and it seems that In each action movies some Casino's or related spot are being featured .

But all in all it is not the Places that made me remember but the Action and the New Gadget or invention James Bond Movies will released and that made the Movies being awaited by fans .

Of course, these technologies nor created by the James Bond movies team, the one I said mostly related to the Automotive industry which was very futuristic technologies were introduced in this movie for better attention of the audience.

Apart from just the fight, the whole action sequence in this movie has a separate fan base, maybe we can find movies with the same kind of action thrilling experience in 21st century but James Bond movies gave the same in 1950's itself so it became like a brand name.

Despite being a Gen Z myself, I came to love James Bond films when my grandfather pulled out his tapes and showed it to us. I even remembered how my jaw dropped on how cool his Walter PTK was. Now back to the topic. Casino Royale would definitely take the cake, the actor's natural zazz and manliness (forgot who he was, I was literally 10 when I saw this film) overflowed to the scene's atmosphere, and it's the one I remembered even up to this day, further solidifying the fact that this was remarkable.

There's a vast of list actually. But in the end most of these gambling-related movies are saying, there's really no good thing that will come out if you will be addicted to it. Your life will be miserable and all. It is good when you are winning, but when you are losing and you are incurring so much debts around you. That's when you will put yourself in so much trouble. Watched a lot of movies during the lockdown period though.

Most of the time when I don't have anything to do is I'm watching different movies neglect what is the genre but I saw some of the scene given on the thread by OP which is giving me a throwback right now, well im not old just watching this movie because of the family who is a fan of James Bond and actions movies. Most commonly with this same scenes are the protagonist will come into a gambling casino just to spy/observer/play and after a few games they will be suspected by the CCTV of the casino because they continuingly winning and the chasing/action starts now.

Not that addicted to it. It's just part of the entertainment why these films have been made and they chose the story line to be in the gambling scene.
No need to be much depth into the issue of addiction and films that are just bringing some real-life issues and lessons that we can learn from the portrayal that they're showing through these masterpieces of movies/series.

I am not an avid fan of james bond movies but i have watched the movies of james bond and one of it was the Casino Royale and yes the top feauture of this movie was gambling and action. But i just didn't appreciate that time what gambling is, i think i have watched it in the time where i didn't appreciate the gambling too. Though i did enjoy watching it and its amazing how James Bond finished the Casino game in favour of him.

I like watching movies as well. I've watched this good movie, however this is a Korean movie, titled "Tazza: The Hidden Card". I find the scenes thrilling and how players have their own tricks when playing cards. I like watching movies about professional gambling, where I can see different tricks and might be some tips I cna use qhen I gamble.

you know them . koreans are good at making films and if your a fan of gambling movies you are sure going to love what they prepare for but i dont think that the trick that they apply on the movie can also be used on real life but that story can be fictious only . for james bond movies , im only familiar with one movie of him about gambling and that was casino royale . the movie was popular that other gamblers on this forum recognize it until now  . i also played a good james bond game on the ninetendo 64 , it was golden eye but not a fan of this movie

Yes, I am really amazed how good Koreans create their plots and twists when they are making movies. I like searching for different movies from different countris aside from Hollywood. I remember one time I had a James Bond movie marathon since my father is a big fan, it's a movie worth watching esepcially that scene where Bond almost died because of poisoning when he was in a poker table.

That is what happens when you actually care about the story instead of just showing a bunch of flashy special effects like Hollywood does these days, which is a shame because they had good story tellers back in the day, and while I understand they are an industry and they need to make money it seems they have left the business of telling an interesting story and they only care about flashiness, which is why I think Hollywood will have a very hard time recovering from the effects of the pandemic.

I think that will be no problem. People will accept the decision because we are still in the pandemic, which needs to be our concern. In these situations, our health will be an important thing than other things.

Back to the topic, I think every James Bond movie, which has a gambling scene, will be attractive because Bond will use many ways to win. But Pierce Brosnan will be the best actor for me because I like his acting in that movie.
