I really want to see Mcgregor pick up where he left off against Cowboy. I expect Mcgregor to win this but it’s going to be a much tougher test than his last fight was. I just think it’s all set up for Conor to win this, maybe have one more fight against Ferguson or something & then Dana will tempt Khabib out of retirement with a massive deal to face Conor one more time.

Tony Ferguson is on a two fight loosing streak and that is not the fight i wanted to see if McGregor is able to win this fight against Poirier, the only fight that will be interesting will be the Justin Gaethje fight and it is evident that McGregor was avoiding this match up and took the Cowboy fight instead.

A rematch with Khabib is not going to happen as it was a one sided mauling and the only fight that could attract Khabib is the GSP legacy fight.

If Poirier wins a match up against Michael Chandler would be great.

Dustin Poirier is a completely different fighter and the odds makers goes with big names rather than logic sometimes  .
Conor McGregor is not active while Dustin Poirier is an active fighter and he is improving every fight and i doubt the cardio issues of McGregor are fixed and with all these factors i will pick Dustin Poirier to win.

I don't think there will be changes in the upcoming days, but I don't think others would now try to desire for having odds with other challenger. Victory for McGregor is really a sure potential for him and unfortunately there's no room for his rivals.

Agreed! Dustin Poirier has very much improved since their fight in the featherweight division. This fight is also for 5 rounds which benefits Dustin more. Also, Dustin almost caught Khabib with a guillotine choke. He might do this to Conor when Conor is tired.

Poirier will have a higher chance in my opinion if the winning is not decided through decision. Poirier is using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is a natural predator of Strikers like McGregor. If McGregor does not finish of Poirier with a Knock out then Poirier might see a chance to take him out via submission which is the tricky part because they are both good at their respective style. I think the fight will not be postponed because they might create a bubble like other sporting events.

Yeah, the odds for a Dustin upset is too attractive, even half a stake for Conor will give us good profits. Hard to ignore though that Conor has that left of his, although Dustin has improved a lot since both of them fight and Conor being the winner. So yeah, I do hope that if Dustin will win here, there should be no surprised and because he really wanted to fight Conor again and avenge his early lost, so he is motivated here.

I like the odds on Cloudbet. Expect those to go even jucier once the swayers come in to influence the odds for an even greater returns for McGregor. The dude may be washed up and not in his prime anymore, but compared to Poirier he still has more experience, more grit, and more tactics to give on the floor—that is if his cockiness don’t get the better of him. Most of his moves on the floor are still commendable, though again this bout he may need to prove himself to us, the audience, again.

Conor having more experience in TKOs and less submissions gave him the upper hand in this fight. However, Poirier's number of fights would definitely gave him a reason to be better and outstand McGregor. For me, having the fact that McGregor really pushes a fight after months of being out in the field do really make him well fit to win this fight, noted that Conor also tried boxing (which is just loses), would still count as an experience in various training regime. Those were just my cents, betting for McGregor this time.

Dustin was a great fighter when he first faced Conor and remained a great fighter after that. It's just that Conor came out the better fighter on that fight night. After that defeat against Conor, Dustin defeated the UFC greats such as Holloway and Gaethje. So Conor will not be facing an easy opponent here. It is true that he once faced Dustin and proved to be a better fighter but it cannot be the same all the time. He has to come out 100% prepared and conditioned or else Dustin will avenge his earlier loss against the same man.

Right now, my gut is saying bet fight not to go the distance.  It's either going to be an under round 2 KO for Connor or an over round 2 Sub/KO for Dustin.  I just can't imagine this fight going the distance.  Biggest question will be who controls the pace.

As for me, I want Poirier to win but my gut is telling me this is still Conor's fight. That's the reason why I might not place a bet on this, or perhaps a little for McGregor.

This is fight a 5 round fight, I am very certain that this will not be a decision hehe. It might be Conor with a knockout or Dustin with a technical knockout or a submission.

On improvements of each, I reckon Dustin had more improvement than Conor. Dustin also has the correct mental attitude. In Conor we cannot be certain anymore.
