Thanks soul_eater, I updated the github to the foundation page: https://github.com/GBCoin-Foundation/gbcoinThat was a personal one, they are the same though. I've updated the first post too with all the new stuff in including pools and voting links, explorer and github etc.

It would be good if the devs did chip in now and again to update this thread with either some news, if there is some, or at least a response to posts put here by people interested in the GBCoin. We, the miners, can help by at least voting for GBC to be included on one of the exchanges. I'll be continuing to vote for GBC to be added to the swisscex and allcoin exchanges, at some point it would be good to 'rush' the coin to the top of the list by using some Bitcoins at an opportune time. I will continue to mine GBC as I believe that, despite the quietness of the devs at the moment, this coin has a future in the future ( ). I'm still watching and waiting to see how much affect the current batch (and next batches) of ASICs have on the more established coins. Until it is known what this does to other coins using whatever method (SHA256, scrypt, etc.) I think any alt coin that isn't affected by a big hike in difficulty can increase its value and desirability to miners - I like to see coins being earned regularly rather than extremely small points of coins per day. There aren't many crypto currencies you can use to buy goods or services currently, whatever coins we choose to mine it'll always be a gamble as to which ones succeed and which don't. There are some oddly named coins out there accompanied by large doses of BS as to where its going and what you'll be able to do with it. All crypto currencies are young, even the experiment called Bitcoin! So picking winners now, next year or in five years is extremely hard. As the difficulty on GBC drops the coins flow faster I'll be taking my chances mining the coin for a good while longer. At some point the coin will be trading on an exchange even if it takes weeks or months. My 0.000000000000002 BTC worth CJ (I didn't get to where I am today...... ) (Reggie Perrin for those that don't get it) I admire your optimism and faith CJ (I assume not the original CJ from Reggie Perrin), and completing your quote 'I didn't get where I am today without knowing a real winner when I see one' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVA9std-VZc

I could only just tear myself away from watching that right now, I'll definitely be watching it later, now where are those DVDs? - the original series with Leonard Rossiter of course. Thank you for completing the quote, I hope I have spotted a winner with GBC. I read a reasonable amount of stuff here on bitcointalk and over at litecointalk and it seems a lot of people are just trying to make a fast buck and want all new coins to 'go to the moon' and expect miracles from the coin devs. I see crypto more long term, really long term, and who knows which coins will still be standing in a few years time. I prefer slow and steady, as long as enough interest is maintained with people mining, and trading once GBC is listed on the exchanges. When GBC is seen to be stable and mature then retailers etc. will be more likely to accept it as payment method, I don't see that any crypto currency is stable or mature yet. In the future there will no doubt be alternative ways of paying for goods and services online and crypto currency is as good a bet as any. Why not GBC as one of them? I think that CJ might just be pushing up the daisies now, this CJ could easily be older than the usual coin miner demographic (wrong side of 50) and does have an optimistic outlook on life. I'm mining for fun, my hardware outlay is around $1500/£1000ish so am just a minnow swimming in the crypto currency cess-pit sorry, ocean At this moment I just keep mining and voting on the exchanges - GBC rising up the lists

why are you posting on a crypto currency forum? ¿Qué? - r12old? I've sent a request to AllCrypt. Keep the voting going on the other exchanges too, it may take a while but GBC will get there.

I'm thinking it might be an idea with the Scottish Independence vote coming, - GBC could be a symbol of unity and the unionist side of the debate. Could get GBC more of a profile and media attention. I really think we should do this. GBC - a 21st century currency for a 21st century Britain.

Well guys .... I did vote No. 500 on Allcoin I'm still voting too. Now on no. 18 in the list. Remember to keep sending humorous, original, and interesting tweets to @BittrexExchange as it is the most effective method to get listed there.
