P2P platforms too are risky. You can't trust the other party 100% because some of them change when they see an opportunity to scam.
What do they change? And what are the gamut of risks associated P2P platforms like Bisq? Any members been fleeced using Bisq? Should I make that a separate thread?

I personally do not have any horrible experience when using a P2P Exchange Platform, at least in my country. However, there are instances that a fraud might happen in the middle of an exchange between the buyer and the seller. It could be the following scenario.

- The reversal of payment transaction after the seller released the bitcoin from the platforms's escrow.
- The buyer is using a compromised/hack/stolen bank account which he/she will used in the middle of an exchange.
- Or perhaps, you are being told to do a different way of transacting rather than the standard/ recognized way of transaction.

There is an in-depth thread regarding this issue as well.
[1] What are the ways I can get scammed on a P2P platform such as localbitcoins?

using peer-to-peer services like HodlHodl[1] and Bisq[2] are great options.
Are sure bisq accepts cash face to face? Their cash app option is no longer available either.

They still do. See here: https://bisq.network/faq/#supported-payment-methods

I also reinstalled the app to check, and it's there. As for cashapp then AFAIK, it has been removed due to its reversible nature.
