Investor's are flooding money so the price is keep on pumping which means demand is increasing, so you have ability to buy then go ahead as the trend shows BTC may go even more. But if you are doing this due to FOMO then please reconsider your decision I feel you are doing this due to FOMO else you would have bought it already. Do proper research and invest only the amount which you may afford to lose or risk.

A combination of factors: institutional demand buying all newly mined coins and more, not many people wanting to sell, excessive money printing by central banks and, finally, it seems that FOMO among the general publics starts as well, as google trends show.

We are going to have drops but you never know when. We might have a 30% drop starting tomorrow or a 20% when we reach $50k, you never know. If you want to buy bitcoin for long-term, don't be scared by the price. You can dollar cost average.

Bitcoin market is moving fast.

You would have various options:
1. Buy now and risk to buy before a dump (or more pump?)
2. Wait longer and risk to grow more (or get lucky and see a dump)
3. Buy smaller amounts over longer period of time (but make sure you don't pay more for the fees than you should).
4. Don't buy at all.

However, the "it just grew and now I cannot buy" excuse is rather lame.
If you are afraid to buy, you have to admit it to yourself. I am not suggesting you should buy or not (!!), just be honest with yourself.


I was in the same situation and ended up getting more crypto by earning it than buying. Unfortunately I was not smart enough for option [3]. And I cannot turn back time now...

Well, I am just surprised. It is just $29K the other hour and right now it is at $31K?! I don't know how long will this rally will be but we should just enjoy the ride and keep taking this as an opportunity as we might not see this kind of price in the next few weeks or months or years. I will not be disappointed even if the price fell in the next few years.

He sure meant it's very expensive these days. 0.003 was once just $25 but now it's more than $100 already, the earlier you have bought your coin, the more profit you may have had by now. Having $25 will only give you 0.00076 BTC, you can only bet few with the amount since dice today only allow 0.0001

This may just be the time when altcoin season to start kicking. ust a thought.

May be you will say it again @$40k, may be @$50k; kidding but no one can certainly say what's going to happen now. I can't see any sign of falling although it may fall anytime.
It's good to see more and more people are showing interest on buying BTC but sadly they don't buy the dip rather they join when most of the investors are at good profit and anytime they may dump their bag.

Bitcoin is not getting out of anybody's reach. 1 dollar invested in bitcoin is still 1 dollar invested in bitcoin. If you're afraid you can wait. Bitcoin always comes down no confirm the bottom and I expect it will one day come back to 20 thousand to set a bottom of a bear market. The only problem is that it may take another 2 years to get there and hit 50 thousand on the way up.

I dun goofed by selling half of my Bitcoin at $25.000 and $29.000 BTC respectively. I'm flabbergasted by the price growth the past few hours and feel like a total idiot now.

People who doesn't know bitcoin are mostly getting interested in bitcoin due to it's price hike/pump or when bitcoin is in a bullish market just like on 2017 where tons of investors begun investing on bitcoin and other crypto.
Maybe perhaps the OP is new on crypto and wanted to invest on bitcoin when the price correction happens which haven't happened yet and continue raising to 31K USD. Most of us here didn't expect this continuous growth on bitcoin and expected that the correction will happen sooner.
Anyways, OP can still risk investing on bitcoin but must carefully watch the market as the correction might happen anytime soon or maybe it will continue growing for long. No one really knows when the correction will happen or at what point it will happen. If we're lucky we may be seeing bitcoin in the 50k USD range before the correction even happens.

same old, same old.  . for sure, if btc will hit 40k, we will hear the same.

there's no right or wrong entry in bitcoin. as a trader or holder, your goal is always to stick with the simple rule of trading - buy low, sell high. of course if you bought your btc at 31k, you will sell at a higher price. as no one knows what will happen to the btc market couple of months from now, or years from now, what you need to do is just keep up with the market. no one can tell you what exactly you need to do at a certain period of time, because it's all on you.
