There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Ok peeps: Tonight will probably go like this: 1) The wallet password will be released at 8pm GMT. 2) within 1 minute people will be up and running 3) At minute 2, there will start to be rejects, stale and orphaned blocks. This is normal while the network monitors the block rates, and works out when to adjust 4) Shortly after people will start shouting. ' OMG, there are so many rejects"  , "WTF is happening here"  , or "You devs Suck", "This is forking off everywhere!"  .... Blah Blah Blah. 5) At this point i will start to stress because i can't reply quick enough to all the questions (Thanks Bitcointalk  6) But wait, whats this?... KGW is here to save the day. YAY! So while you are all 'Killing' the network, Mr Kimoto's Gravity Well will kick in soon after block 1000 and start to make every happy again  Basically, be patient, things will settle down. I'll try and update the forum at exactly 8pm GMT, but Bitcointalk.org is being Waaaaaaayy slow tonight, probably under a DDOS attack as we speak... (It's those god damn trolls again!) Not long now before you can all Kill it!  1000 block is not enough for everyone. Please allow 20,000 blocks before KGW destroys all the fun for everyone. |

So user 1211 has officially (Trolled) launched the coin by compiling the source early and is now at block 180.
See those trolls get everywhere, cant be trusted!
So to make it fair, i'm gonna have to open the doors early.
