Exciting times ahead!! Block 5000 is on the horizon with its 1,000,000 Kilr reward!! I'm mining on cryptopool.eu, and, not to sound greedy or anything, but I hope we get that one!

No doubt! CPU mining is for the birds man, but I am taking advantage of the low network difficulty. Should have my first 1K payout sometime tonight!

Well, unless a really high rate solo miner comes along, chances are cryptopool.eu will get that block - it's managed to get ~70% of the recent blocks. I've been playing with solo mining for the last few hours and scored a couple of blocks, but it's bed time now and I figure I might as well take my chance in the pool for a small share than leave my little rig mining with a miniscule chance at the big blocks.

That's good news! Thanks! Of course, my pitiful ~7 - 10Kh/s isn't likely to get a very large chunk of that reward anyway. But who knows!

I managed those two blocks on a GTX 760 running about 280 kH/s. Something's up, though - we're now on block 4520 and cryptopool doesn't appear to have found any blocks since 4501. The overall hash rate is much the same as it was before. Weird. EDIT ah, never mind, it looks like the stats were running slow for some reason. All appears well now.

Where do you see zero? It's at 60 MH/s at the moment!

Hey dev, any idea on how to get us listed on crypto-prices.com? That might help get us noticed and get more people interested in this coin.

Ah, OK. So it's not zero, it's a rounding error I hope this coin doesn't die - I've minted just shy of 500k coins, having rented some capacity last night to take advantage of the two bonus blocks that came up.

Yep, and now it's showing 0.03 Gh/s. So maybe it was just that the guys with the big hashes had just switched off their machines, or switched them to a different coin for a bit or something.

I think part of it is, the blocks went from 5000 to 2000 and now at 1000 very fast. You have to mine 5 times longer for the same reward. People will move on and if the DEV doesn't start promoting the coin it like so many will die.

Wow, I was wondering why it was that I have been mining all day and only have generated about 370 coins! Yeah, definitely need lots of advertisement.

you know maybe the community should take it into thier own hands if they feel the dev isnt doing enough to help the coin strive, a good community is what has helped a lot of other coins like dogecoin and that

I think usurping the coin is a bit extreme. Why not try to help the dev promote the coin first? Take it to FB and Twitter or whatever. I personally don't use that crap, but some of you may, so you should definitely use it to your advantage. Maybe even pimp the coin in other threads here or something. Send emails to pool operators asking them to host Kilr is also a good idea. We need to get people interested and get the network hash rate up.

yeah i agree completely, i dont think i used the best choice of words i meant more like we start doing stuff to help raher than just asking the dev to do stuff

+1 Personally i think the dev has done a pretty decent job. Instead of complaining you could be doing something to make this coin a success, so spread the word and get some more people involved!
