SSL is an integral part of the wallets security and encryption used. The massive security flaw was found in OpenSSL v1.0.1f and below, but was fixed recently in OpenSSL 1.0.1g. So i and loads of other devs including Bitcoin have all moved to 1.0.1g

Yeah, looks fine to me, But if you're unsure, delete your peers.dat file form the application support folder, so the wallet reconnects to the official chain first!
