How to take BITCOIN profit without selling?

in Some youtube videos I heard some analysts talk about taking profits in bitcoin without selling bitcoin.  some of them even said that they doubled their Bitcoin amount in this bullrun. They don't explain how exactly to do that.

I tried to research and can't find any way to do that in any of the exchanges I use such as kraken, bittrex or coinbase.

 The only way I know of,  to take profit of bitcoin bull run is to sell some bitcoin which means the bitcoin holding will reduce.

So, I am just wondering is it really possible to take profit without reducing bitcoin holding?  Am I missing something here?

That link will still direct you to trading with sign-ups and maybe even needs an initial payment to maximize revealing their secrets.
I'd go away from watching all those advertisements on Youtube.

As for the "doubled their Bitcoin amount" part, since we're talking about a bull run anyway, I'm pretty sure they meant that the USD value of their coins doubled. Or unless, they traded successfully until they actually ended up doubling their bitcoin holdings through spot/leverage exchanges.

You can't take your profit if you don't sell your Bitcoin.

If that is doubled their Bitcoin amount, I have doubt that it is an HYIP.  This most likely a scam investment, they give promises to doubled the amount of investment using Bitcoin or the unsustainably high return but in the end, it will end up to scam once they collected a huge amount.

Stay away from that promises, Bitcoin investment doesn't work like that, or even in trading, you will use your Bitcoin in different transactions.

Like others have already said, you can't take profits without selling your bitcoin. Although you could technically sell bitcoin at its high prices and then buy back at every pullback. This strategy would essentially get you more value in both BTC and USD. Those youtubers you followed, if they want to show you how they doubled their Bitcoin without any shady schemes, they would've done so. Since they didn't, it's safe to assume it's a shady scheme. It sounds too good to be true because it actually is.

This is the only way the OP's situation relies on, or maybe he is wondering more in such way that it is only just HOLDING the coin. You don't sell, yet you see you are having profit.

Not selling it isn't a successful profit, nor taking the profit after all. Hence, those you see might be the 'estimated profit' out of the entry price compared to current price.

And for the OP, please, never rely on the Youtube 'analysists' alone on making a decision. Never be jebaited on their profit in this bullish market. Since you seemed to be interested in how to earn money with trading, why not start from the beginning? You don't need to rush your way and earn profit, there is a long journey. Don't be feared on missing out (FOMO).

You can consider your are in profits only when you calculate it against some value like any other asset which has value.

For example if you have bitcoin and calculating its value against USD value so when the price of bitcoin increases against USD you will be wither in profits or loss which is not necessarily mean you have to cash it out.

Another method to make profit is actually increasing your bitcoin holding figures which is possible with trading so you can trade bitcoin with any coins and try to increase your bitcoin holding.

First of all, you need to be cautious of the videos you watch on Youtube cause some videos are used to send false information whilst some are used to scam people through ROI investment.
Having said that, the only way I think you can increase your Bitcoin profit without selling your coin is by offering loan service on an exchange which some exchange called investment of BTC on their bankroll and any information apart from all what I said is totally a scam.

I will recommend you OP that from now on you never watch whatever channel or channels where you got this information, they either do not know what they are taking about, in which case why are you listening to them at all? Or they are spreading misinformation on purpose in order to scam you or to get something out of you like commissions. In which case you must stay away too as they only care about extracting money from you in one way or another.

OP there is no such thing, if you want to obtain fiat profits out of your bitcoin holdings then you need to sell, this is true in this market and in any market as well.

Financially yes it's possible but not exactly in a way that you are saying. Financially you can create a hedge for your current position in a way that no matter how much bitcoin's price moves upward or downward you will always be in profit. But this doesn't means you will get this amount to use in your account. An example for this is that suppose you buy one bitcoin at a price of $35000 and then after you get some profit and suppose btc price reaches to 38000 you sell short 1BTC worth futures at a price of 38000. Now if BTC moves downwards you will lose on your holding of bitcoin but will gain on shorting the BTC future but at the same time if the BTC price moves upward you will get no profit as all your profit on BTC will be set off against the future you shorted.

will really behaving  that question in mind on how its done and thats the time they would really be asking it out and thats the time on offering out some service.

When we do talk about profits then that would basically talks on selling it out and neither it would be converted into something stable neither on a stable coins or on fiat itself.

If you havent make any steps then it wouldnt be considered as profits but you can actually see your gains but not had been realized or finalized.

the only way to take profit "in BTC" is to use a margin platform like bitmex, deposit margin collateral, go long/short, and then close the position in profit. when you take profit, you are only closing your margin position, not selling your coins.

you couldn't sell BTC for fiat on bitmex even if you wanted to. they only offer contract markets.

I get what you are saying but not every "double your X" will be an HYIP, especially in the case of Youtubers, it will be difficult to tell. We need to be organized with what we label some scams so people can easily pick them apart.

I think regular people are getting a bit more attention these days as well. They are not getting watched as much as youtubers who act like they discovered fire, I agree that these huge grand ideas, not just in crypto but everything on youtube, when doing huge claims and all, they get more views.

However I watch regular miner channels for example, people who are not really doing big claims and all, people who show the grind, show building it, basically all around regular things, and in the end they have been getting bigger and bigger. So it turns out, it is a quick way to get viewers to say big things, but it is also a lot more sustainable to do things right way, that will allow you to get viewers and also will keep your viewers coming back constantly, if you lie to them one of your videos will be watched but that's it, you will be gone and not be a youtuber.

Wait what? How in the world you are able to double your profit in Bitcoin without selling them. There could be some ways (not a hundred percent sure on this though) but I don't you are able to double it. Unless it was a Ponzi investment, specifically HYIP investment. You should totally get out from it, yeah could get profit at first but as it goes on you won't be able to pay out so be careful. I'd like to see those videos though and check them myself.

If you are honestly going to believe this and you have even taken it as far as talking about it here then it means that you can easily be fooled into doing some very consequential things in bitcoin. This is a business and the people on youtube are also doing business. They will always try to come up with some very ridiculous ideas of how you can make money but most of them never actually work. Does they are willing to sell the tricks? Or they have linked any website url in videos descriptions? I am asking this because they might share some ponzi scheme site or some ponzi wallet which allow to use stake their bitcoin (means Holding bitcoin on their wallet) and they will share some interest. That means it's a way like ponzi.

But I did not hear something like that where I can take profit without selling BTC. And I am not sure though if there any way or not. My guess they are talking false and trying to scam people when they will follow their step or when people will be interested to buy the tricks.

I would say bitcoin is the hardest one, there are other ones that could be done easier but bitcoin is not that simple. For example when ETH becomes 2.0 and gives stake? Just put your ETH into stake and collect ETH for free, and use that if you want to? Or reinvest that and get more ETH in return later.

There are many stake coins, there are liquidity providing, there are many new things in play with DeFi projects now, however bitcoin is none of that. That is the thing, watch any news channel and you are going to see that they have the tendency to offer the most polarizing points of view in order to attract viewers or clicks, and YouTube works in the same way, if you want to have big audiences in YouTube you most likely are not going to get it by telling people to buy bitcoin and hold it for as long as they can.

People want secrets and tips, they want to invest in an unknown coin and make a fortune in a single week and even if those youtubers know that is impossible they are still going to give recommendations like that in order to bring viewers.

Well, if you hold your coins, the only profit you will make is against the fiat price if the value of Bitcoin grows, but that won't make your holding coins more. There are some websites where you can hold your coins (like even the blockchain wallet) where you hold your coins and they give you interest like bank. You cannot profit from any asset unless you sell it, so I am not sure what methods those Youtubers were talking about. Maybe they are luring others into some kind of a ponzi scheme because there is absolutely no way to make profit of a bull run without selling or buying the assets.

Frankly speaking the market is full of scammers specially since the telegram has arrived because scammers have no fear of getting caught and tracked down. Don't trust anyone who promises returns without selling/buying of coins because it is obvious they are just trying to get control over your coins and then vanish. Yea you can make profit without selling Bitcoin. But you need huge knowledge about crypto currency. Have many way for earning bitcoin if you understand when btc price increase or decrease. When btc price dump you need to convert it usd.

 as a trader you cannot actually gain profit when your  not selling your assets, its is not efficient in gaining more income not to trade your investment, you better take the risk in order to double up your investments. There are other way, you can lend it to someone trustworthy and ask them to pay their debt in cash but the original loan amount will still be on Bitcoin. For example, there was a thing called boardroom or something in binance smart chain, you got involved with your BNB and you get returns, it was about 10% return PER DAY and obviously I assumed it was fake.

A friend of mine got in anyway, he put in 3200 dollars and made 240 dollars per day for 8 days straight, he took out half of the money as well, he is still a bit in because it wasn't fully covered, but he turned 3200 dollars into 5600 dollars and took out 2500 dollars from it, now he still has about 3k in there and only have about 700 dollars invested. Now I was fair to assume it was all fake, because who gives anyone 10% return daily? But dude took out money so I am not sure anymore.

There are many false trading YouTube channels created by so called experts which just grab your views with attractive thumbnails and when you open the video you realise you just wasted your time and so is the case with you.Have they provided any link or information regarding profit or double your coins?
There are many ways in which you can earn Bitcoin like:

Those kinds of "too good to be true" things are very rare and called a "gem" in the crypto world. Do not be upset that you missed on a gem because not that many people make a profit from it, you have to be very lucky to make a profit from it, but there are a lot of people who missed it as well and you are just one of them, 99%+ of people missed it with you so feel no worries.

However if you end up putting money into regular good earners and wait for years, you are going to actually make a profit and that is what I would suggest you to do. Normally bitcoin and ethereum and similar level things would make you profit in long amount of years, and having a diversified portfolio would also help you, and putting money in it constantly would help you even more. Yeah with big names you won't make insane amount of return very easily but at least you will make a return eventually.

Because most of the time, they're just doing it for the sake of view or strategy to find a investors who will try to buy

That is not really different from the mainstream media neither. They make news about the most watched things, they write stuff that are clickbait but on newspapers, they basically try to get as many readers as possible when they can.

I think there's no way to earn profit without selling bitcoin. Trading is buying and selling, it means you need to make more bitcoin for buying and earn profit when you selling which is automatic of reducing the bitcoin.

 The only way I know of,  to take profit of bitcoin bull run is to sell some bitcoin which means the bitcoin holding will reduce.

So, I am just wondering is it really possible to take profit without reducing bitcoin holding?  Am I missing something here?

I think the only thing you missed out on is that you missed out on falling victim to their pranks. Trust me, it's better to stay away from such advertisement because of the temptation to eventually click the link. In really happy you didn't fall victim.
The only way you take profit is by selling. Trading requires that you sell and buy. You buy certain coins at a low price and you sell when it becomes higher to make some profits.

So technically, selling it gives you the profit. If you want don't want to sell, you can trade it to other altcoins but that also means selling your bitcoins to get altcoins. There are a lot of cryptocurrencies in the market you should just be wary of the movements. If you don't want to you can just hold your bitcoin atleast you can see your profits by looking at the current price.

First of all, you need to be cautious of the videos you watch on Youtube cause some videos are used to send false information whilst some are used to scam people through ROI investment.
Having said that, the only way I think you can increase your Bitcoin profit without selling your coin is by offering loan service on an exchange which some exchange called investment of BTC on their bankroll and any information apart from all what I said is totally a scam.

This is certainly very good information because there are probably many and probably many who have experienced this, but I really appreciate that you continue to provide something that needs to be done. because so that all things that scam are detrimental can at least be reduced because it has become a very worrisome thing.
We must admit that there must be cooperation from all who care so that fraudsters can be slow but can be a little less and need someone who cares to speak up.

I believe that a lot of people, particularly on this forum, cares about cryptocurrency user safety but some people are just tired of repeating the same thing over again because they have provided some information which would safe the newbies from scam and in the end the same person who was advised choose to ignore what he been told.
Having said that, I have seen a lot of people advised not to use a certain exchange site that provided fake investment ROI and gambling site that scam his user and it shocked that the same people will still use the site which was said to be scammed.
Aside from that, people also need to be very careful of what they read and the advice they follow.

Not this time, people are now learning, I believe that they can make an escape from this dumb trick who are taking the advantage of the market surge. I actually think that this will never succeed as we are sending warnings. But if someone is crying for they have scammed, I'd never give mercy to them as it was their fault for being ignorant and having too much greediness inside.

Right, most of the videos these days are sponsored privately where the guy would just recommend an exchange and try to explain benefits beyond understanding.

Perhaps it will be a misleading video taking profits without selling your bitcoin. It is not possible, I can't also think of any way that we can take profits if we don't sell it off.

Maybe possible through leverage trading but again there is a risk and it is indirect selling. I mean you can borrow a particular coin and then sell off once it reaches a higher value, but it involves selling indirectly.

You had 20,000 USD before the bull run started.

You bought 1 BTC @20k

The bull run starts and price reached 40k where you sell 0.5 BTC and cashed 20k USD

So by doing this, you retained all your 20,000 USD while also earning 20k in BTC.

Maybe something like that was being explained in the video.

For me how can i make profit from bitcoin without selling them? Then buy some coins using your bitcoin if your looking for something then youtube is the answer everything you are looking for is in internet nowadays people seem bit rush when talking about profit until then they will got scam because of the promising of returning your money double with in 2weeks or maybe more. If you just stocking up your bitcoin and waiting for the price to be pump or the bull run well it well took 1 month or maybe depends on the demand of bitcoin.

As far as I know there is not a legit way to take profit without selling. Other coins have a option for stacking but not BTC. Only way you have is to wait to price jump and then take profit with selling.

I agree with what have others said you can't get a profit without selling because that is how the trading world in bitcoin or stock price exchange works.

When it comes to reading a lot of articles, it is really important. So, you can identify the wrong and right information and as others have already posted do not believe anything on what people post (number one is videos).

The articles the one thing that is reliable for me and reading a lot and asking real veterans here in the forum for many have possibly posted fake information because they can make a big profit out of it and the number one is youtube.

You did a good job asking and confirming were droughts about that issue.

I may have the answer to that but just an idea. So found some people who bought bitcoin again without selling? the possible reason that I saw is this person the timing was right for this person when bitcoin value was at their peak of getting high this December.

The percentage the number, (for December 2020)the value was on a lowest peek and later on this January 2021 the highest was 40.0000 USD.

In the middle of that this person might have bought a bitcoin and when bitcoin reaches its highest point, you can really have a great profit out of buying more without selling bitcoin the more you have bitcoin the prices increase more when bitcoin value increase. 

This person possibly has already had an idea or this person might have believed in the prediction for January 2020 and made a gamble of buying.

When you hold it for longer period, you get good profit from bitcoin.Only sad news is the withdrew fee of many exchanges from 0.0005- 0.0008 btc which is almost 18$- 29$.The withdrew fee of Binance is 18$ for now.So the people worry once they withdrew from binance to fiat converting exchanges like Localbitcoin.Due to the current bitcoin price, the withdrew fee also increased a lot.

You’re forgetting that most of these people are just clout chasers and they can do and say anything just to get their videos go viral on the internet lol. Like who in this world that is in their right senses is going to believe that you can make profit in Bitcoin without selling it?

Cryptocurrencies are assets that you’re buying , and there is no legit platform that will double your asset for you, only scammers will say such a thing to convince you so that you can give your money to them. When you invest in Bitcoin you make profit when price appreciates, and you take that profit by selling the Bitcoin or any other altcoins you bought. Simple.

I think there's no way to earn profit without selling bitcoin. Trading is buying and selling, it means you need to make more bitcoin for buying and earn profit when you selling which is automatic of reducing the bitcoin.

I have a suggestion, instead of using of your money to buy bitcoin, earn this using signature campaign. It just like, earning money without capital.

Reading from the thread's title "How to take BITCOIN profit without selling" i doubted already and think if these wasn't applicable knowing that the essence of trading is buying and selling. How could a trader generate an income without sacrificing its capital, oh yeah maybe what that YT channel wanted to emphasize was trading using alts so that the generated alts could purchase a bitcoin. No way? The price of bitcoin is determined in USDT, as a rule, therefore, the higher the price of bitcoin, the more USDT you can get, but you will not get it if you do not make an exchange.
I see only the option when you pay for goods and services in bitcoin, but then, what is the profit, because the amount of bitcoin is only decreasing, and in the case of USDT, it will increase.
