AH ok but how come that wallet with wrong seed can be created ? and if how come u can see receiving green adresses when history is empty ...
Any "valid" seed will allow you to generate a wallet and restore the addresses... empty or not. Electrum allows a user to create multiple wallets. It would appear you have written down a "valid" seed, but for a different wallet.
Electrum always highlights your "receiving" addresses as green... your "change" addresses as yellow... whether they are used or not, and whether the wallet has any history. A completely empty and unused wallet will still show "green" addresses.
If the "history" tab is empty, then your wallet has no history and you have the wrong seed.
my seed is 100% correct and in mine times transaction were send immedietally not need to wait for large sum of BTC , exept pools they did it same as today ..
You don't have to wait for large sum... he was saying that if you're still mining, you should increase the payout threshold. Having a lot of small value UTXOs, will make any transaction you attempt to send have a large total
data size... because the total fee paid for a bitcoin transaction is based on the total
data size (regardless of the value actually being sent), then because your
data size is very large, the fee will end up being very large too.
This is why people who got tiny amounts of faucets and mining etc end up paying huge fees to send their bitcoins
By increasing the payout threshold to something like 0.001 BTC, it helps avoid some of those fee costs.
I managed to recover some old files from laptop can any1 please state what was original name of that file i need to recover my old wallet ?
most likely "default_wallet"... any extra wallets get named "wallet_1", "wallet_2" etc... unless you changed the name when creating the wallet. Then it is impossible to say what the file would be called. Note that Electrum does not use any file extension like .wallet or .dat etc.
Depending on the OS you were using, the wallet file(s) would be stored in a folder called "wallets" in one of these locations:
Where is the Electrum datadir located?
The data directory of Electrum is where wallet files, config settings, logs, blockchain headers, etc are stored.
On Windows:
- Show hidden files
- Go to \Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Electrum (or %APPDATA%\Electrum)
On Mac:
- Open Finder
- Go to folder (shift+cmd+G) and type ~/.electrum
On Linux:
- Home Folder
- Go -> Location and type ~/.electrum
