Me personally wouldn't buy Bitcoin when it's almost at $40k/coin which a few weeks or months ago was floating around $10k lol. Good suggestion but here is my question.

How do you know when the price will go down or up?  Because ain't see any time frame of that and you can't determine when is the perfect time to buy or purchase Bitcoin.  What if Bitcoin didn't how down as you said for the best time to invest, instead, it will grow up and times two in the current price, it's hard to determine and you can't jump in when the price is high.

I may suggest investing in what you can afford, and invest any time you want.  It's always a perfect time to buy if you have enough capital and wait until you will have a profit.  Bitcoin is unpredictable, determine a high and low point of buying/selling will remain predictions to us.

Sure, if you can afford now, then buy. As long as you are planning to hold for long term, then go ahead, there is nothing to hesitate. By long term, I mean if you are planning to hold for several years. Look at the charts. The price is increasing on average as years passes. So if you invest now, in the long run, you will make profit. Just don't, if you can't afford loss and thinking of making some quick profit.

Seriously, you should not go around and ask ppl in the internet if you should buy or not buy BTC. Makes no sense at all. Do your Research and then decide. If you ask a question like that, you will get 12 different answers from 4 different ppl.

Another great part about this is the fact that we were all worried about if bitcoin will be allowed or will it be banned, will it be taxed and regulated and how much, there were plenty of questions in our minds. What happened?

If someone believes they can make a profit by buying at the current price, then why not invest? But I think this issue mostly bothers beginners who are caught in FOMO (what if the price reaches $100k, and I didn't buy?). While on the other hand those who follow the situation with BTC at least a little, know that the real investment opportunities were in the months before halving and a few months later.

The problem that some investors have (I mean small ordinary people) is that they do not want or do not know how to invest in the long run, and mostly wait for the bull run to happen and only then start investing. But if someone does not have the knowledge and skills for such risky trades, they usually fall into problems that result in loss.

stocks and btc have similiarities but what specifically stock is that ? btc is the strongest coin in crypto so its okay to buy btc on any value but if the stocks that he is comparing to btc is weak or not in the level of btc well he is right that it is risky buying that at high price .

I would advise you to be critically active in the price. Spam F5 in your "btc to usd" keyword in Google because the price is really going crazy inside 30k right now.
Yesterday, I believe it kinda dropped a bit to 34k? But now we're back in a bit of few dollars up again.

Buying dip is definitely the way to go for long term investment but I don't think buying bitcoin right now can be considered a bad strategy. You can see those investment firm buying bitcoin like buying ice cream and they won't let bitcoin price go down for sure considering how many money invested.
For now, it's hard for bitcoin to go down like it was in 2017 so I could consider there's no best time than the present, though ofcourse if we can find opportunity to buy dips why not?

Our estimation about the Bitcoin market is the same but about view about altcoin market is totally not the same because nothing guarantee every altcoin will gain new ATH price (outperforms the 2017 market ATH) cause what we're seeing is just a flash switch in the market which shouldn't have to happen now but it happens because of the major investors that focus only on BTC.

The best time to buy bitcoin is when its price is relatively stable and as we can see the price has remained at the 32k level for some time so this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin for those that are thinking on holding it for the long term, and this is even a good time for those that want to get profits in the short term as bitcoin could always go back above 40k any minute.

I'm sure you should know by now that there's really no perfect or not-perfect time to buy bitcoins. I am sure that those who bought bitcoin when it was at $25k must have felt this way too with the thought that there will be fall in the price of bitcoin after some time only to see it's now $32k.
I think the only way you'd lose by buying bitcoin now is if you're buying or investing on a short term because of daily or weekly corrections. If you, however, are buying and hodling for a long period of time, then trust me, buying bitcoin is a great decision because there'll definitely be an increase in its price as the year goes by due to increase in adoption.

It depends on what your investment strategy is and holding timeframe, if you're investing for the future, that's you don't have any intentions to sell anytime soon then it doesn't really matter what price you buy provided you'll be holding all through the years to come. There's every possiblity bitcoin would be trading far above the trading price for today in 5-10 years time.

Therefore if I'm planning to be a long term investors I won't mind buying even though the price has increase by some percentage. Some will suggest you not to buy right now coz' the price of BTC is too high. They're just saying it coz maybe they bought their BTC way back years ago and made some good profit in today's price.

But others like me would suggest you to buy while you still see BTC below $50k price coz' we'll never know when is the next ATH, don't get FUD of corrections it's very normal.
If your planning to do day trading then wait for it to dump below $30k. Or If you'll just gonna hodl it and sell when your profit becomes 300% or more then I suggest you to buy BTC while you still can.

Ill be glad if it will just continue to be stagnant at 31k level and not below 30k anymore even though im glad for a dip so I can buy more $BTC before its price goes 3 digits. Another approach could help with everyone, both people who buy at bear and people who buy even at peak : DCA. Yes you're right, the problem of most BTC traders is that they don't have enough patience on waiting the right time when to buy/sell cryptos. Well, you know, buying cryptocurrencies on their high is a thankless job. These swings of BTC between 30-33 thousands are rather good for short-term trading, but long-term investments are better to make when everything totally dumped.

The price swings still kinda scary though, it's indeed suitable for short-term trading but the price could just go fall down at anytime if the price fall break past $30K point.

Im no expert but I think buying BTC at this price is still a good one, on the future we can expect that BTC price will go to 6 digits already and that we wont be able to afford it that much already, BTC is having its new ATH at the moment so just wait for its correction before buying.. This price is good for swing trades only as you know BTC price flactuates this days too fast. Look at this price of BTC tho, really do fluctuates really fast so its good for swing trades and not hodling as history may repeat itself again where BTC price pops and hodlers who bought at its ATH before suffer from lose. But I actually dont think that you will be much affected if you are a hodler of it as you can have patience for years until it had its new ATH again.

Definitely, buying after correction is good enough but there's no harm in trying to buy when it's at lowest point. Though I doubt that the price could go any lower than $30K in the upcoming weeks but if the news regarding bitcoin adoption keeps appearing on many medias it's fair to say that maybe the bull run is not over yet.

IMO it is not advisable to buy bitcoin at peak price (or if the price is increasing) regardless if you're a short or long term hodler because we dont know the next movement. There's a possibility to increase but what if the price drop? Its a risky move. I have friends who buy btc during ath of bullrun 2017 because of FOMO but later on regret their decision, they cant wait longer for the price to bounce back thats they sell at loss and quit.

Anyways the decision still depends on the investors if they are willing to take the risk of buying when the price is increasing since we have different perspective and strategy when it comes to investing. That's true, the price is high it is hard to buy or gamble our money with no assurance that we earn profit through buying bitcoin this moment. in terms of doge increase today, it is achieving its ATH and quite risky to jump onboard. we cant tell if it will continue or will start going down any moment. but am happy for doge as they have been used by many crypto users throughout these years already. but this development is interesting to follow, what will happen to doge in the next coming days...
with regards to btc, it is up to the user if he will buy or not. for me, theres no right or wrong time when to buy btc as long as you know what youre doing and not sell it below your buying price.

Good for you if you have bought it around $30,000 because it seems that we have seen a good candle in the last 8 hours or so, pushing to $33,000. We are hoping that this is the beginning of Bitcoin spiking again, the bears have lost already and we are still very bullish.

Why are you going to sell when the future looks bright for Bitcoin, maybe we can hit $40,000 this February. Anyway, it's up to you, hard to give financial advise here, but all I can say is that Bitcoin is for long term.

I agree, although altcoin market such ad Doge can jump tremendously, it is very volatile and if you get on top then you might be trap. But its good to hear the Doge is no longer the meme coin.

Buying bitcoin at any price makes sense as long as you have funds for it and can get in more if it falls. The point is, if you buy bitcoin at 40k, and it drops to 35k, then you buy some more, and if it goes down to 30k you buy even more, so you drop your averages under 35k that way and you will end up selling for a big profit when it goes back to 40k instead of just being a break even point.

If you can do that, you should buy at any price, if you buy right now and it goes up you are in profit, if you wait for it to go down you may miss that drop, however if you buy and it drops you can still buy more and get a bit of profit when it goes back up, so it is a win-win situation if you buy now and also have some funds aside for future purchases as well. That is what I have done in the past and it really worked, now I am not selling, I am just holding because I bought mine under 10k.

When you make your post, the price of Bitcoin around 39K and now around 45K. Big increasing. Yes, people always want to buy at the best price, dip price, but when, when it comes??. It is a 100x higher than the first time i met bitcoin and from here i could say that i am expecting for a price correction but not that same as price correction happened wayback year 2017.
