There is nothing wrong with the investment strategy you are doing, by investing in altcoins after you sell your Bitcoin when it reaches an
all time high. Most importantly when it comes to buying altcoins, make sure the altcoins you buy include potential altcoins. Because if you
choose the wrong altcoins for investment, then all the profit you managed to get when selling Bitcoin will be lost. In my opinion, just choose
top altcoins which are safer to buy, but it would be better if not all of your capital was bought for altcoins. Keep buying some more Bitcoin,

The technical analysis doesn't guarantee if you can enter the market at the correct time. There should always be a combination between the fundamental analysis and TA. When your TA says it's the correct time to enter but the fundamental is bad due to the bad news and it can be a boomerang. So many people have been facing this problem before. I thought that people should not only use TA to determine the correct price and time to enter the market.

It never a good idea because this current cryptocurrency movement is determine by the price movement Bitcoin market presented and the altcoin pump trend this year shows it maybe difficult for 45% of all altcoins in the market to reach new ATH price.
You should have sell your BTC for stablecoin.

Honestly, you have mistaken to buy Bitcoin during its hype, and we are declining now moving back to $33,000. It's absolutely a loss for you but if you were able to hold and wait for it to bounce back, that be your sacrifice.

If that only helps you to save from losing and that altcoin also will potentially grow, you're definitely right. That is also what I suppose to do.
But anyway, the long-term holder had sometimes been paid great. Well, that be your choice either, and switching to altcoins is also the best option to risk.

It is the wrong moved you did dude, selling your Bitcoin because you want to shift into altcoin is a very bad idea.
I'd rather to hold Bitcoin in the long term rather altcoins. But it is your choice not mine, just hoping that you've never regret

You are converting your assets when it was on the peak price. It sounds very bad decision IMO. it's better if you are converting it into the stable coins and waiting for the dip to enter in the market again.
You have been getting a loss caused by you were entering at the and position.

It depends on one planning and the Altcoins you hold instead of Bitcoin even some of the traders will disagree with your decision of selling Bitcoin. I feel you took this decision on the basis of the previous bull run of Btc when Btc touches its ATH after that Altcoins triggered and start booming. This rise in the price of cryptocurrency is a chance for me to regain what I have lost in 2017. But this chance is getting far away from me.

A lot of depends how usefull the project is, what developments it has. How many people will use it in future. More project will use the token in future the higher will be its price.

Most probably that you've made a bad decision into that part.
Selling Bitcoins and then buying altcoins? Maybe if you buy altcoins like Ethereum or Polkadot or Chainlink then it might give you profit short to mid term and even long term.

However, selling your Bitcoins in order to buy altcoins doesn't sound a good idea for me. Well, its your money and possible that it is your strategy so still ok. In the end it will depend on your risk management and how good you are in trading but for me personally, I will not do what you did but I will add additional capital to buy some altcoins and not selling my Bitcoins.

So, you sold your Bitcoin for altcoins, well that's good considering you sold with gains but what really matters afterwards is what you sold Bitcoin for, that is, if you sold Bitcoin for altcoins like Ethereum, then you did a good thing, because that's another wonderful coin to hold and sell once it crosses its ATH which it looks like it is approaching. However, on the other hand, if you sold for some new coins with no future, then you might need to have a rethink on your investment. Furthermore, Bitcoin is one of the few coins which someone can hold for long term without issues, so is Ethereum and some other top altcoins, thus selling Bitcoin for one or some of these top altcoins is also a good idea at the same time, selling altcoins for Bitcoin is also a good idea, but in all facts, holding some Bitcoin for long term is very good.

It's not good when you are investing in at the peak price. Imagine when someone was buying ethereum @1400 and this time he got 10% loss due to the bearish trend that's happening in the market.

The main point should be the timing. This will determine how successful your trade to get the profit from the market.
Ethereum didn't give a lot of impact to another altcoin.

It is not good if you're buying on ATH. Selling Bitcoin for alts could be a smart move or not. Only few alts can really give lots of profit. For me i would still hold 50% of Bitcoin then Eth and 25% for alts. Well if you really prefer alts then goodluck just make your own research before buying it.

You should have ask people on here before making that decision, it's not safe to buy coins at ATH, you might get stuck if dump happens and the chances that dump may happen is very high since you bought at ATH, don't do this ever again, to make profit from crypto you have to buy at cheap price

If altcoins were bought for BTC, then after the dominance of bitcoin decreases, there will be a great opportunity to increase the previous amount of BTC. But this will only happen if you choose a good coin, such as ethereum or litecoin. Because not every coin can grow in price in relation to BTC.

I think that gonna somehow work I think but it will depends on the alts you buy though. If you choose the better alts like ETH and the top listed coins in the market then there's no doubt that it will be all worth but if you made a mistake in choosing them like a newly created coin then you might have rethink it cause there's a higher chance you blow it. Better if you liquidate it though but anyway alts are a good option as well.

For me it is a bad idea that I have ever heard selling bitcoin to switch to altcoins, bitcoin is very comfortable in investing to large investors while altcoins are only partially choosing it and that in the long run, are currently convinced by the decision taken to sell btc and switch to another alt That's the only way you have to fix the chart control on a daily basis and hold the altcoins for the long term

Investing in any cryptocurrency is risky because there is a high risk of losing your money. It is very difficult to predict how the course will behave.
