Why are people still buying XRP?

I got disinterested in XRP back in March 2020 when I learned about the 20 XRP wallet minimum. That was a deal breaker for me because it requires people to invest some money that they will never be able to access again. Also, I did not like how XRP is centralized. But now, with the giant lawsuit, why are people still buying?

XRP is a really big coin in the market, would be hard before it drops, but it’s already doing that and you can see that from how the position has dropped on coinmarketcap.com. It’s just with time people will dump them or maybe they wouldn’t, because for some people they just don’t care what’s happening, they are only interested to know whether it will grow or not, and once they see small increase they will start pouring more money into it.

I have seen so many coins that are bad, but still they kept growing and people never dumped them, because they are just looking for profit without caring what they are investing in what it looks like.

not just BIG Coin, Ripple does have good fundamentals, yes even though they are a lot of controversy and now under investigation by the SEC,
I believe Ripple will definitely win, they are not a scam altcoin, Ripple just doesn't have regulations on cryptocurrencies and thinks XRP is not a cryptocurrency,
I myself hold XRP, and I am sure many people still believe XRP will get past this problem and be ready for the altcoin season!

If you buy at a lower price and sell it more than you break-even, that's profit. But how do you define good? with its lawsuit, I don't think you can.

Im not interested with XRP too, but in my opinion, people which still buy XRP its not investor, most of  them are traders. They see many opportunities that the price will recover soon. But XRP will end soon if many exchange start to delist it, its better to avoid XRP investment if you dont have any strategy on it.

Im not interested with XRP too, but in my opinion, people which still buy XRP its not investor, most of  them are traders. They see many opportunities that the price will recover soon. But XRP will end soon if many exchange start to delist it, its better to avoid XRP investment if you dont have any strategy on it.

traders who knows what theyre doing. scalping is common strategy to get short term profits. but they should be careful with xrp as it is like a vulnerable coin these days. better stay away from this coin if you dont know what strategy to exercise in this market.
maybe, there are also investors, who believe that xrp has still future. but that future right now is very hazy.

I can and cant because this depends on your analyzation dude. Sometimes shorting ripple is quite profitable but it has the more risk compared when you are trading another coin.
When you are still on the profit and it's better to hodl or sell it but when you can't sure whether it will be going up or not and you must think the best decision for your money.

I don't think it's a good reason to buy XRP, because XRP has had so many problems. It's too risky to buy XRP, I prefer to buy other coins that are
safer. Maybe someone still buys XRP because they don't read the news and are not active in this forum, so he only saw price movements in
the market where XRP did not experience a significant price decline. Or maybe people who buy XRP are typical risk takers, so assume that in the end

If you have kept old XRP coins and have earned a profit you can sell them. Let's read the latest news about XRP coin holders who are said
to be getting flr coin airdrops that will be distributed in the first half of 2021. Maybe the reason people buy XRP coins, is  because  holders
will get free FLR tokens.

Traders somehow always think they are tricked and that the lawsuit is just part of the fud. After all, XRP still is working. Its technology didn't stop all because there is a lawsuit though. I tried using it many times since last wee as well. Withdrawing and cashing out XRP is just the cheapest option and while it looks stable, it should be useful. Many still will use it despite the case and it got alliances too.

That FUD is very scary because anytime RIPPLE will crash in the market, already there are exchange de listing Ripple if Ripple is not a well organized company with many partnership it will crash immediately on the first first day the news that SEC is suing them, I have used XRP so many times in the past it's really past and cheap and this is the reason why it is still supported still by many traders, they are used to using Ripple.

They still buy only for short-term gains.
But I see that many have gone away from XRP because at the moment XRP is just running in place.
Actually to me XRP is good in the long run. But there is a lot of bad news coming out of social media about the ugliness of Ripple. So that investors are afraid to invest in XRP

Those who are still buying XRP must have the same mindset like myself, I believe that XRP isn't a small project that SEC can just rough handled anyhow, the project is well established and if they make some mistakes it can be fixed in a ease manner, also SEC could be the reason why we will see less crypto projects from US in future

Sorry but what is 20xrp wallet requirement ? is that for real? i did not recognized that though i never tried to withdraw or convert that small amount because XRP is very cheap .
Imagine that 22 cents( back when i am holding this coins) multiplied by 20 so that means that's 4.4$ or 4.40 in which i believe that normal to require us having at least 20.

Also the Highest Price XRp reached is 4$ in which talk of the town that is manipulated so at any chance i don't think this will reach 10$ for you to think of that 20 minimum.

At the present moment the XRP coin is in a lawsuit that's why investors are decreasing their investment on it, but some  giant traders are continuing buying and holding XRP coin for some moment or long time. Anyway, long time holding it is a very big risk even in the short term in my opinion best decision for your money on you.

Maybe they look at the price not the lawsuit going on. With the low price of XRP seems people grab the opportunity to buy low. I guess that is the reason why people still buying XRP. Once they win this case for sure the XRP will pump up many will get profit.

I'm not see many believe on xrp anymore, most of them are avoid to invest on XRP since SEC problem at the moment.
I dont understand why last pump can happen, i think its from a pumper group which want to sell their xrp at the higher price. So they pump it first with some fomo news.

I think it's greed. It is she who today owns the emotions of people. After all, only a few people today own XRP. I have a few tokens for this project, but no more than 1% of the entire deposit.

There are people who hold for dear life.
There are people who are fanboys to their coin.
There are people who see it as a gamble.

There is a feeling that the SEC will just fine XRP and if that happens the price could easily go back to $1.  So it could easily be a 300% to 500% profit.  Compared to ETH and BTC it is hard to accept that ETH would go to $4,500 to $8,000 soon.  So $5000 could easily be $15,000 with XRP.

What I'm hoping is that ETH and BTC profits shake weak hands in XRP that it is taking too long to profit and sell so I can collect more around $0.15.  The government will make this slow as possible and people will get bored and impatient.
