But if we go on your argument that we are going to hold in the next 10 years then yeah, possible, as you as you have a tough mentality to hold in that span of time. Anyhow, I'm basing on my experience, I have stocks that I hold for more than 10 years so it's doable. The only thing that might sway people though is that crypto is very unstable and risky because of it's volatility.

It is like building our future or securing the next generation so that we can somehow have assurance.

People are just scared to invest because it is either they are not knowledgeable or they want an easy money.

A bitcoin investor should practice improving their patience and skills in observing the market. Cryptocurrency is very playful in the market and there are a lot of factors that can affect its price and it can also affect your investment positively or negatively if you're unaware of it.

Right now you must have a very strong conviction to buy bitcoin, people had years and years to get bitcoin cheap and they did not do it and now they are complaining they have to pay so much when others paid so little, that is just the nature of the game but I can assure they will not do it and then in a decade once bitcoin is worth at least six figures those same people are going to complain they did not bought bitcoin at the current prices.

Most people only care about the short term which is why they cannot be investors because as soon as there is a decrease in the price, they will sell their coins, lose money in the process and then blame bitcoin for it when it was their fault by selling so early.

You are just talking about investing on the first year of the bitcoin or buying bitcoin when it is just starting on the first phase or first stage. So far, this is the only analogy that I can accept in regards to investing in bitcoin. I wouldn't agree with you on the ships analogy though, bitcoin is the ocean, the tides are the increase and decrease in the prices and soon all of land will get taken over. For real, if skeptics are still believing the same theory about the bitcoin bubble till this day, I think that they are beyond help and they will never change, the only way for bitcoin to get bigger is for more people to know about it, sooner or later a lot of people will be using it and bitcoin becomes the talk of the town that the FUDs surrounding bitcoin will be drowned out and the former opposition will finally consider the benefits of bitcoin, it takes time though but that is no matter for bitcoin can wait.

Actually the idea is also a good metaphorical example because bitcoin is definitely like a tree in terms of its description and idea. When you want to gain or to have a tree, you need to plant a seed of a tree you wanted. After that, it takes a lot of patience in order to become a strong, firm, tall and beautiful kind of tree. In bitcoin investing, you must start in a small amount of it, you need to have a patience in gaining some knowledge and studying how it works. You must invest also ypur time and effort in order for you to have a better understanding for in the future you will have a reasonable and positive profit or earnings. Yes, but always remember out about the risk because not all would really be having a happy ending.You wouldnt know if those plants/btc that you had planted wont wither or die in the end of line.
So you should really be prepared on the possibilities that would happen but somehow on seeing the current situation or progress of bitcoin in over a decade then you can eventually tell
that this one will really last long in future years to come.If you can risk out to put up some money or investment on just like on planting trees then this time it might pay out ahead just
like into those people who do risk when bitcoin was just still starting up. No one can predict the future though but we can make some steps that would really be giving out those good opportunities.

regardless, I like the analogy that buying bitcoin is the same as planting trees. we need to "take care of it" in order to grow properly, because there will be many trials, lack of water, storms, etc. It's the same as market conditions, sometimes good sometimes bad. patience and mental are needed as a holder. market analysis is also needed, otherwise we will lose a good moment to "harvest"
